Guerlain Champs Elysees EDT Spray 75ml

I first purchased this fragrance almost 10 years ago and it is the only fragrance I will use. I’m hooked and was very disappointed when I couldn’t find it in the department stores anymore until they told me to go online. That’s just what I needed to hear. I’ve got my beautiful parfume. The scent is long lasting and it doesn’t affect my allergies as many other did before I discovered it. I’m very happy to have it again. The scent is soft, and makes me feel very elegant.

As others have said, I’ve worn this parfum since the 90s and the scent is not the same as that formula and I always buy the eau de parfum(s) and this one does wear off faster to fade. That being said, this is a very lovely scent. My true test is when and if others compliment how I smell. The old formula I’ve had tons and tons of people ask what I wear just in passing by me or sitting near me (that’s actually how I found out about it by smelling it one someone else!). It was my signature scent for decades. Champs Elysees Perfume Love it!!

I have worn this perfume for well over 20 years! It is absolutely part of my daily routine every morning. That’s why I love it, subtle enough to be worn just to be home and around family. Then anytime we go out in the evening people always tell me “you smell so good”. It’s perfect balance of sultry fragrance that is not overpowering yet definitely makes a statement! I LOVE THIS PERFUME!! The only problem I have is that it’s out of stock a lot, and nowhere in baton Rouge can I buy it! Please Guerlain make more!!

Sadly, I will have to move on from my beloved Champs Elysees! I have worn this fragrance faithfully everyday since the 90's. I have had women, men, young and ild atop me and ask what i have on. The original Champs Elysees had that perfecr sparkling magic about it. In no way is this the same formula that Guerlain is insisting is the same. The complicants with the new formula have considerably been far in between. I have an old old bottle from early 2000 and the scent is night and day compared to this new version. I have bought countless bottles of Champs through the years and now sadly have to move on. Sad to hear that Guerlain tries to insult their customers with pushing the notion that this is the same formula! Clearly it is NOT! Disappointed!

I loved this fragrance for decades. The reformulation ruined it completely. Smells “old” and a bit like mothballs — nowhere as bright and lovely as the original. I emailed the company and was told they had to change the formula to meet new ingredient regulations. As usual, whenever bureaucrats get involved, they ruin something. In the meantime, Guerlain needs a better tester. Whoever thought this new scent was Champs Élysées (or almost like it) probably had a head cold that day.

Finally. Champs-Élysées is Available

Champs-Élysées is my one and only forever fragrance! I have worn it for years, and it is a rare day when someone does not come up to me and ask me what is the name of the beautiful fragrance I am wearing. It is an elegant, feminine classic. I was so unhappy when I was unable to get it and called stores throughout the country. I have to say that the new Legendaires version smells slightly different to me (and to others I have read,) although Guerlain assures me that the formula has not been changed. This “new” version also does not seem to last as long on me either. I also do not like the plastic bottle cap—this gorgeous fragrance deserves better than that. Women have followed me through the grocery store or department store to ask what the fragrance is because it is so delightful and fragrant. I am on my last bottle and a gentleman and his mother just asked me the other day for the name so he could purchase for his mother. I had to tell him it is no longer sold. I hesitate to purchase the new one after reading the reviews that it does not smell as good as the original bottle. Please…bring it back in its original fragrance/bottle. My most favorite! I highly recommend Champs Elysees in its original fragrance. I cannot attest to the newly bottled fragrance. While I'm thankful Guerlain brought back Champs Elysees, the newer version is not as nice as the original. Like other reviews, I too used to get countless compliments from women and men when I wore the original Champs! This newer version isn't as long lasting nor is it that perfect beautiful feminine scent. I have been wearing this from the 90's and was beyond devastated when Guerlain discontinued the original version. Has anyone also had a problem with the sprayer? The cap sticks when you press down to spray and the cap is so small compared to others. This isn't the worst problem but it adds to the overall disappointment. Please Guerlain, bring back Champs original scent and change the bottle so the cap doesn't stick when pressed down. Mom loved it!

This perfume is wonderful. I bought this for my Mom. She has worn this scent for what seems like my whole life. She had ran out and thought her perfume was no longer available. I surprised her with this for Mother's Day and she was elated. I have read the reviews of people upset that it's not the same. I can't tell you if anything has changed, but I can say I thought it smelled like the original. My Mom was happy with it too and is so grateful to be able to wear her scent again. It is truly one of a kind.

My Favorite Since 1996

I was incredibly sad to see that the old Champs-Elysees had been discontinued. It's been my favorite since 1996 and I wore it exclusively for many years. My favorite was actually the EDT version and it was just a strong as the EDP with a slightly sharper, more sparkly black currant note. These 90s versions were longevity powerhouses! You could spray it in the morning and still smell it at night.I just got this new updated bottle of the EDP. The Guerlain service was wonderful, shipping was free and came in a beautiful box. The perfume is still most definitely the original Champs-Elysees EDP with the only exception being that it's not quite as long lasting as the original.
