Guerlain L'Instant Eau De Toilette Spray 50ml

This is absolutely wonderful. Normally I'll get a sample of a fragrance and wear it many times before buying a full bottle. Not with this one. Wore it once and immediately purchased a full bottle and have no regrets. This is a warm soft cocoa/patchouli-scented snuggle on a cold and rainy night. Doesn't last long enough is my only complaint.

This edt is another masterwork from Guerlain. It is, to boil it down to a concept, an exercise in contrast ie., light/bright contrasted with dark/heavy. A melange of beautifully bright lemon/bergamot/citrus; dusty/chocolatey cacao; milky jasmine tea; and rich glossy patchouli. Most will say that the edp, formerly known as LIDGE, is the better of the two; it isn't.

Amazing unique fragrance. Compliment Monster

Wow. This is the most amazing fragrance i have. Perfect all round. My most complimented fragrance. Unique and very sophisticated. Women go crazy for this. Girls find it very very sexy, appealing and are enchanted by this. It opens with a warm spicy citrus, than the citrus settles up a bit and the cocoa comes on. It has very good projection and longevity. I get 8-10 hours on my skin and 3+ days on clothes. Project for about 4-5 hours on my skin. For me i'ts a 10/10

Beautiful Long Lasting

Oh what a lovely beautiful scent this fragrance is! My friends and family keep giving me compliments as I walk into the room when they noticed something smells so good. I use the EDT version and it's enough to get me going for the day. I still smell amazing even the morning after. This fragrance gives a great scent cloud and amazing sillage. A must buy!

Fall in a bottle!

I really love the smell of this. Never got to smell the original 2004 version, though I heard it was amazing. Regardless I'm glad that I added this one to my collection. This is pretty much fall in a bottle just like Heritage is. It starts off spicy and a bit citrusy. It's the dry down where the magic begins! The tea, hibiscus, and jasmine come out 30 mins after the first spray. Once it becomes closer to my skin that cacao, patchouli and sandalwood starts to shine! Performance is pretty decent as I got 7 to 8 hours on my skin with an hour of projection. Great fragrance

This is a nice addition to a collection. It's a solid daily dumb grab, but it's not my signature scent. I wear this fall/early winter and it's definitely a daytime scent. Good longevity (6hrs) and a really interesting patchouli fragrance.

Great scent

I actually love the scent the only problem is it's very alcoholy when you first spray it. I did get the EDT maybe I should have got the I do love the smell it's probably one of the best smells that a man can wear. it's very masculine while not being offensive, and a very sexy smell ( so I'm told ;) ) honestly the only con is i wish it would project a little but more and and last just a tad longer. Im hoping when I order the edp that will fix that problem.

Oh wooow...this is friggin N-I-C-E !! (6 sprays to chest, 1 to each ear-rear, 2 back of neck before work) On initial spray you get a BLAST of juicy but not super-sweet citrus! But not nose-searing...eye-burning citrus, It's a nice soft citrus that makes you smile. Then...the fragrance starts to warm up after about 3 minutes...the Star Anise and floral notes start to make their presence known. Stays that way for at least 30 enjoyably lovely minutes for me...then the Cacao starts to come in...mixing with the citrus and florals and the whole composition starts to soften up as the Tea note takes it's place in the mix...settling all of the other notes down and introducing a Zen-like calming effect to the fragrance. I can imagine early morning in bed.....my wife snuggling with me and getting to enjoy this perfectly chocolatey citrus fragrance on my skin from the day before. This is the most vibrant, active and developing fragrance I think I've ever owned. I'm definitely wearing this for the rest of this week. Definitely gonna need a second bottle because I can see this getting used up QUICKLY! This...is...an A-Grade AMAZING fragrance...goodness gracious! EDIT: Just got a compliment from one of my co-workers on my fragrance! WOO+ EDIT2: AAAAAND...the wife LOVES IT!!!! This is now a "TOP-5" Fragrance!!!

Unique Scent Mediocre Performance

Smells like a honey lemon Ricola cough drop in the opening. Has a sharp sweet but warm smell. The citrus really pops. As it dries down the citrus fades and it gets warm and woodsy with a hint of sweetness. I've worn this in summer during the day and it seems to burn right off. Could be worn in climate controlled situation like the office. Does smell very pleasant/comforting . Has that cough drop menthol ish opening then becomes so good on the dry down. The problem for me is that it just doesn't project and becomes noticeable only very close to the skin. Performs a tad better in cooler/cold weather but just a tad. I go with a few sprays around my neck and shoulders and then on my shirt and it does not knock anyone out.
