Either too shiny or too dry matte, or the wrong tone. I was lucky to be selected for the Guerlain lipstick campaign ( God exists!) but I was disappointed when I read that the notification said Rouge G . “Oh boy, bright red! It won’t work on me”. Omg this feels so luxurious on the lips... Now many Matte Velvet Lipstick formulas are super drying on the lips but this one is absolutely not, it has to be the most comfortable Matte type lipstick I have ever used. I do absolutely love the concept of refillable lipsticks an the mechanism of this one is fantastic. The colour is intense and a mostly orange toned red but there is enough blue in it to help my teeth to not look too yellow. I love the fact that the colour lasts but, it does travel if you don't set it with powder, unfortunately I found this out while I was out at a party and a friend told me I had a big red mark on my chin.... as I stated though the use of a bit of powder does fix this. My only other issue I have with this lipstick is that it has a rose ... MoreOmg this feels so luxurious on the lips... What a gorgeous lipstick!! Quality is fantastic, you can tell this is a high end brand. The packaging is beautiful and very classy. The lipstick itself is a beautiful shade of red. Lovely satin finish, doesn’t cling to dry patches on the lip and goes on smoothly and effortlessly giving an outstanding finish with even full coverage. Application is precise and very pigmented. Last 16h and stayed on pretty well during food and drink. Smoothing care ingredients with lily oleo-extract! Price point is pretty steep so not budget friendly but if you’re looking to splash out absolutely recommend!

Firstly, the shade is gorgeous, the most perfect red. The formula is creamy and glides on. The lipstick is very pigmented leaving a solid colour on the lips. The coverage is amazing and it’s so long wearing, it lasted all day. I love the satin finish, it doesn’t feeling drying or settle into any fine lines on my lips. The gold, metal casing adds to the luxurious feel of the lipstick. I do like that it’s customisable with a range of different cases to buy to put the lipstick in. Without buying a case, the lipstick comes with a small plastic throw away lid. A gorgeous, luxurious lipstick.

I normally don't wear lipstick anymore for several reasons, but I am definitely converting back!Best lipstick I have ever tried so far. Sleek and luxurious packaging. Smooth texture and unlike other lipstics, this one is very mosturising, without leaving the lips dry and flaky. Feels like putting a hydrating lip balm on. Would definitely purchase again. Only con? Having to buy the covers seperately, which could be a bit pricey. Other than that, fabulous product.

What an absolutely gorgeous product , it comes in a lovely velvet travel bag. I absolutely adore the case design it’s such a classic and subtle design. This is so handy to use when applying your lipstick as the case opens to revel a double mirror which is really lightweight. It’s definitely a product that I would’ve excited about using and getting outof my handbag and you can feel the high quality.Unfortunately this product didn’t come with a lipstick for me to try, so I can’t evaluate how well it holds , but as it has been specially made I expect it fits like a glove.

This lipstick I found a pleasure to test. I have never tried top of the range lipstick before and I can definitely notice the difference in texture, scent and its premium design and comfortable need to wear.I tested this Satin lipstick on special occasions and the lipstick itself glided really well onto my lips giving a smooth coverage effortlessly. The colour of the lipstick is not my usual colour but this matched my outfit perfectly so it was an excellent opportunity to test this at the same time. The lipstick did not stain on clothing nor did it smudge that much. The scent of the lipstick was quite noticeable and sweet like I was sucking on a sweet candy all day. The lipstick when looking at the appearance in my hand shows that it is of excellent quality and upmarket for people that love designer makeup products. There was a big difference in the lipstick compared to what I normally wear as this was long lasting lipstick and my lips did not need any touch ups to re-apply whereas the lipstick I normally use I constantly have to apply throughout the day so my lips don’t lose its colour. This colour does not fade. It is great for party wear and weddings and other occasions.The outer packaging was also very detailed in description and of premium quality made out of tough card.

It's very pretty and well made, but I find it utterly pointless. The mirror doesn't have a magnetic catch or any way to snap it shut, so it's permanently open. This makes it unusable in my opinion. Perhaps I received a faulty one, or maybe when you put a lipstick on it solves this, however I can't see any buttons or anything for the lipstick to push.I do feel this is extremely overpriced for something you can only use at home, unless you can find a way to make it safely portable. Perhaps storing it in the pouch it comes with? That's too faffy for me so I won't be trying that. What a shame!

I love how it is cleverly designed as mirror locks only with lipstick and only can be worn with lipstick. The look pays off the price and it is worth having it. Compliments are guaranteed and you can wear them with your favourite scent.The diamonds give sparkling vibes in the evening if you go for dinner or it can be a reflection of the lights in a club. It can be wearable in many ways, just depends where you want to.I'm definitely hooked with this case and hunting for a light shade lipstick now.10/10
