Gundam 1/144 RG Freedom

The Freedom is one of my favourite gundams. RG kits are pretty great as always. MG quality and construction at a HG size for a reasonable price.

I really like the design, It reminds me of the original gundam style with a cool red and black backpack, This model comes with a good amount of weapons from a beam saber, rifle, and swords

This kit is beautiful and aside from the Master Grade 2.0, is probably the best realization of the Freedom Gundam you're going to get (personally I prefer this one, but both are excellent). It continues to improve on the Real Grade formula. A lot of the construction is streamlined, making it considerably easier than the prior releases, and the end result is every bit as exquisite. You get a dedicated weapon holding right hand for this kit, as well as a molded open hand in addition to the sets of articulated hand and closed fists. Lots of great details as always, and the color separation is more or less perfect. The wings are beautiful and work exactly as they should, with joints at every segment, allowing them to open up, and the plasma cannons fold in and out of them easily, and can swivel around. Accessories include the aforementioned plasma cannons, hip mounted folding rail guns, beam sabers, beam rifle, and shield. The latter two pieces are especially nice to see in full color at this scale; they are perfect. The rifle's holding peg is fixed, which is honestly a huge improvement (the folding pegs are a nightmare). The kit is backheavy, but can stand if balanced properly. The camera sections on the head come in clear white, and once again there are no stickers for these (although there are a ton of marking decals for just about everything else, and the foil stickers for the eyes are great looking as always). The oversized beam saber blades make their return, but thankfully this is the last kit to use them. If you get the RG Destiny Gundam, you can just take its unused beam saber effect parts and use them with this kit. Negligible flaws. Get this now.
