the toe came undone. I sewed two rows around the toe with great success. My friend can wear them now without her toe poking out. Not bad because they were heading for
the bin. Brilliant. Just going to make a stuffed cat using beige.... Show more

I have a linen dress that I love to wear in the hot summer days (not this year, then). It buttons down the front and sometimes it gapes a bit between the buttons. Being an easy wear, loose fitting item I decided to sew up the button placket, along it's full length. This had made it into a pull-on dress with no immodest gaping.... Show more

I have always found this particular brand to be most satisfactory. However, this particular purchase has proved to be dreadful. The tension of the thread is too loose, so when I attempt to guide it through the eye of the sewing machine or a hand needle only one strand will pass through. It has taken me 15 minutes to thread my sewing machine. Yet the other colour bought at the same time is fine.... Show more
