Purchased thinking that being made in Italy meant it would be good quality. However, the interior water section did not appear to be finished metal or stainless steel. It was patchy, not smooth and a mottled grey not at all like the other polished silver parts of the item. I was worried about the metal and unfinished state so not wanting to get heavy metal poisoning I did not use it. The retailer claimed it was not faulty and I did not get a refund or replacement from them. So, this substandard item cost me a lot of time and money as I had to purchase another one/brand elsewhere. Which by the way was finished properly and has a consistent polished stainless steel look all over.

Compact, elegant design and easy to use. Still waiting for an induction stove so the Moka sits on the edge of our smallest hotplate. Makes a full-bodied coffee for two.
