Gyeon Ceramic Detailer 500ml 116165

Love the product, absolutely HATE the bottle. I have two of these and they leak everywhere if you even look at them wrong. Leave it in the garage on a 70 degree sunny day, leaks. Leave it in the house, still leaks. Use it on your car, and it somehow leaks all over your hand. Heaven forbid it actually tips over...

I’m not a professional, this is the first time using this product which I got the recommendation from PAN for the best Hydrophobic and Shine combination. I used the Q2 Wax and finished with the detailed. The product super easy to use, just follow directions and don’t get to far ahead of yourself and it is amazingly easy and you get great results. It really does enhance the shine and appears to help dust / dirt blow or wash off easier. I was looking for a killer shine with Hydrophobic benefits and I think I found a winner. You don’t need to use very much product, I only put a couple sprays on each panel and messaged product on with the damp microfiber towel then follow with a dry microfiber towel to bring out the shine. Decent product

I’ve been using Meguiars Ceramic detailer for some time now but with recent price rises I thought I’d give something else a try. I use detailer as a drying aid and to top up protection with each wash. It’s early days with this product as only used it once but first impressions are that it’s easy to apply and remove, however I wouldn’t say that the beading is quite as strong or long lasting as the Meguiars.Overall a decent product and I’m not disappointed but the jury’s out as to whether I’ll purchase again.

Doesn't add gross to my ceramic coated paint

I bought it after watching a YouTube channel of a detailer. I was expecting it to add extra gross. But I can't notice any difference before and after. My car already has ceramic coating, so maybe that is why it doesn't add any gross. Will not buy again, in my case.

Excellent gloss and saturation with good hydrophobility and a little durability

Based on reviews that include gloss measured by a photometer, this is one of the most glossy detail sprays, especially among those with SiO2 (which tends to lower gloss a bit). It also adds some noticeable saturation (aka jetting, darkening), though not as much as a coating or the best of the more substantial sealants and spray waxes. Slickness is good. There are other detail sprays that do these things just as well, but the SiO2 in this gives it enough hydrophobility that it won't mask a superhydrophic product underneath it, and it gives some durability (I would estimate 1-3 washes or 2-4 weeks) in terms of maintaining hydrophobicity and slickness. It's is expensive, however. And the SiO2 makes it more prone to streaking in sunlight. For me it's perfect for post-wash wipedown/maintenance on top of a coating or my current layer of Fusso during the Northwest rainy season. However, I am not sure it's bettern than FK 931, which is cheap as dirt in comparison, in terms of hydrophobility, durability, and even noticeable gloss and saturation. I will do some more comparing with FK 931 through the rainy season, and then In warmer, sunnier, dryer months I will test it against Xtreme Solutions Topper and my go-to cheap, foolproof option of FK 425. It's just too expensive and doesn't come in bulk, so it's never going to be an every-wash, year-round product for me.

Good detailer but costly for what it offers

Thai is a nice detailer for topping up ceramic coatings, dusting and quick wipe ups, and to boost gloss, slickness, and hydrophobics.The only real issue is that it’s not a great value, and it’s not better than anyone else for the same price or less. Meguiars hybrid ceramic detailer is as good if not better in every way except for maximum slickness, and cheaper per volume.It’s a nice product and it comes with that signature Gyeon style, but it shouldn’t be the only one you look at.

Gyeon Q2M Ceramic Detailer

I have not used this product as yet but will be shortly. My wife’s new car was ceramic coated right after she purchased it. I will be doing a minor detail on it soon and plan on using this product as the last part of the detail. I’m fairly new to esoteric and this was part of my 4th order in a fairly short time. The reason I’ve placed 4 orders in a short time is because of course their excellent products, but mostly because of Todd Cooperider and his excellent videos telling me about the products and showing me how to use them. I’m a new customer and plan to be a regular one.

Not my cup of tea - but read why

I am a huge fan of Gyeon products but on a couple of occasions I have been disappointed by their products. This is one rare example of disappointment (relative to many fantastic experiences with their other products). The reason I don't like this product is because unlike an ordinary quick detailer where I can spray it on and completely wipe all detailer residue away with a damp chamois, this product will leave a very thin film of cloudy "protection" that must subsequently be wiped away with a dry towel along with a bit more pressure than I am comfortable with (similar to the process required for applying Gyeon Cure). But then you are likely negating the whole point of this particular detailer.So my review should be taken in context: if you are already the sort of person who uses a quick detailer to apply and then wipe away with moderate pressure with a dry towel, this would be a great product to try because the technique is the same. But if you are like me and prefer to use a quick detailer followed by a virtual "no pressure" wipe with a damp chamois to do the job then this product will likely disappoint because of the reasons stated above. It really just comes down to your preferred way of working as to whether you may like this product or not.I can certainly see why this product has a following but personally I prefer the simpler approach of using Gyeon's Bathe Plus shampoo and just applying that to all areas where I otherwise would also have used this detailer.

One of the best

One of my favourite ceramic detailer out there. I first used the Meguiars hybrid ceramic detailer which worked very well, but they raised the price. I then bought a 400ml bottle of the Gyeon and used it all and was very impressed, no streaks and works great as a drying aid as well. Water beading is also fantastic as expected and combined with a ceramic coating it works as a great maintenance product. I have since bought a 1L bottle and half way through that and will order another when this is out.

SONAX BSD on matte and gloss wrap vinyl

I bought Sonax for my freshly wrapped car as I saw some reviews of it to be a good protector for vinyl wraps. AND it IS. My car is wrapped in matte and gloss vinyl, it is my rolling business card since wrapping stuff is my business. Beading is great, it doesn't change the matte vinyl in its appearance but rather enhances its color. No streaks, nothing. Dust and dirt go easy of and bug splashes don't leave any marks.I am recommending it also to my clients and I actually like the smell (kinda Pinacolada :))To me it looks as good as expensive nano protect for a bargain price.Good stuff...hope you will get the "Vinyl Detailer" from Sonax, which is right now just available in Germany. I would LOVE to try that.Cheers
