Disappointed

I was disappointed in the two pairs of corduroy paints I bought. First, the material is no longer 100% cotton, as were the Haggar corduroy pants I bought two years ago. This might account for the new pants being thinner than the older ones, and thus less warm in winter weather. In addition, the pants shrunk nearly 2" in the leg after a single washing in cold water. The fit at the waist remained good, however. I'm not sure I'll buy Haggar corduroys again. I did not return the new pants because they fit well enough for me to wear, and there are few options available that wear as well over time. I do prefer to wear the Haggar corduroys I bought two years ago,

I'm happy with this purchase, particularly since a low "end of season" price was available. I bought these pants in "military green," and liked the color. The fabric is a little bit thin for corduroy, which I didn't mind at all. In Virginia where I live, true heavyweight cord trousers are only wearable two or three months a year. Otherwise, the cut was a just little too baggy in the seat to totally suit me. I've sent them through the washing machine and dryer once and they did very well with no shrinking.

I've always loved corduroy especially during the winter months. For some reason they have been more and more difficult to find from retailers. I do wish that the styling would be more modern meaning a straight fit. I'd also like to see more options for length like a 31" inseam along with a 30 and 32.

Nice pants, but weird lapse in size labeling.
2 October 2023

Nice pants, great colors and value. I ordered two pair of identically sized pants in different colors. They arrived quickly, but one pair had an inseam two - three inches longer than the other pair, despite having tags showing the same size for both. The extra-long pair was sent back, but I am very happy with the pair that fit.

Overall great pair of slacks!
4 December 2020

I purchased these corduroy pants for my elderly father. He has always been a fashionable dresser. The pants look and feel great. A well made garment, unlike some of the clothing that is out there. The pants are durable, comfortable and stylish for a gentleman. My brother liked the stylish look, so we purchased some for him as well. Haggar has a great selection. The pants were promptly delivered. And best of all, buying directy from Haggar, they were significatly less exspensive than buying them at a retail store, or online at a retail store. Haggar, Thank you for making a quality product at a great affordable price.

Practical and Good Looking
15 January 2023

I bought Haggar's stretch cords to wear with a sports coat or sweater on occasions where a suit is too formal. They do that very nicely. Here are some other thoughts. First, cords in general don't hold a crease. These cords do, making them look a little nicer. Second, there are more cords to the inch than most cords, making them just a bit thinner and not quite as worm. If you're going to an indoor event in colder weather that can be a good thing. Third, the stretch waist is quite practical in colder weather when you may have more/thicker layers to tuck in or if you made one circle of the buffet table too many. Finally, I haven't washed these pants yet so while I'd like to comment on how they come out of the laundry, I cant.

Slacks done the way they're supposed to be
19 December 2020

I didn't need a pair of blue corduroys but when Haggar didn't have a blue pair, I bought the suggested pair from Amazon. There is no comparison. While Haggar slacks that I've purchased over the years have always been examples of quality and style, the Amazon pair is terrible for many reasons. So I bought a second pair of blue slacks when I had no intention of doing so. My one minor complaint is that the button hole for the waistband button could be a touch bigger. I'm sure it will loosen up over time. Otherwise the fit, style, and finish are everything I've come to expect from Haggar.

Thank you, Haggar for keeping good design
20 November 2023

My hasband likes Haggar corduroy pants that he has been wearing for a long time. When he ordered a new pair, he was happy to realize that Haggar has not change anything in the good designe of the past. So we ordered 2 more pairs of different colors. Thank you, Haggar and Macy's.

Too long
11 January 2023

Stretch corduroy pants were well made. They fit well around the waist and through the hips. However, they were too long. My husband always wears a 34" length, but these measured over 1" longer than his other pants, including other Haggar brand pants. He wishes that Haggar still made pants in heavier corduroy like they did in years past.

VERY SLOW DELIVERY
28 September 2024

I love Haggar corduroys but I never will buy them online again. Fedex stinks. Look at my tracking history and see how long it took for me to get them. Start putting them in Kohl's and JC Penney's again or I won't by buying Haggar corduroys again. Send me a free brown 34/30 classic fit pair to temper my disgust for Fedex.
