These are exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a pair of dress pants that weren’t too wide like a classic fit, but weren’t slim fit either. So I went with these and the straight fit is perfect! Not to mention that it’s hard trying to find a size 32x29, these guys had it! I’ve bought dress pants from this brand before and loved the quality so I was hoping this would work out, and it certainly did! Love that these are machine washable and wrinkle free with a permanent crease. The only minor thing I noticed is that the crotch area feels a little tight when sitting down. Not really a problem for me because I usually wear these to work. But worth noting for guys who may feel that this would be an issue for them.

My spouse needed new work pants. After checking our usual club store sources, which were out of stock on his preferred brand, I purchased two pair of these. How can one go wrong with an established brand like Hagar? Well, unfortunately, this purchase didn't work out. Both pants had an inseam one inch longer than specified, therefore the pants would need to be altered to fit properly on my spouse. (Typically, that's not an issue on men's clothes as opposed to women's clothes where inseams are not often advertised up front.) We debated whether the pants might shrink and fit properly if they were washed and put through the dryer but there was another deal breaker that caused us to think better or it. The buttons are incredibly hard to button on not one but both pants. ... MoreMy spouse needed new work pants. The buttons are incredibly hard to button on not one but both pants. There is another review here that mentions this issue but I was sure it had to be a fluke. No, it's not a fluke. My spouse has some arthritis in the hands and doesn't need to be fighting the too-small button holes every day. (On his other brand work pants, there is an additional metal hook inside the waistband to supplement the button. Hagar should follow the same approach rather than try to create a super tight button to keep the pants on.)I was inclined to purchase these pants because they have a decent amount of cotton in them, which allows the texture of the pants to complement polo shirts and a "business casual" look. Too many men's pants are now made of polyester/synthetic mixes and while they wrinkle less they are also too lightweight for winter. Cotton seems to be the better year-around choice and results in a better weighted feel/look. These pants make the cut on material (good look and feel) but the fit is so far off — longer in the legs than advertised and yet conversely tighter in the waist — that they have to be returned.

Very disappointed. Material was thin and my ID wallet rubbed a whole in the rear pocket of two pair of pants.I wore one pair two times and the other pair three times. On the third pair the expandable waistband tore from inside after wearing the pants three times. I threw the pants in the trash because because I didn't save my invoice. Everything fit great when I received it and I wasn't expecting this to happened.I have worn Haggar pants for years and they have always been my first choice. I don't understand what went wrong with this batch of pants. I recently just purchased Haggar's cargo pants and love them.If someone from Haggar reads this, I'm sure you could look up my account to verify my purchases and credit me for the three pair of pants.

These are literally the only pair of pants you carry that my son can wear, and almost the only that anyone makes. He's ncaa offensive lineman size and build, but more muscular and less fat, however, he is just under the 'big and tall' standard sizes. Recently we changed diets (carnivore/keto) and he dropped 50 lbs in a couple months, but it seems the Haggar pants he used to get shrunk in their sizing.I was very glad to find that these existed. For on thing, I was happy I actually found something here in a 40 waist, but I was ecstatic to find an actual Straight size for once. He's closer to a 36 waist, but the thighs are so tight their close to bursting, but their not cutting into him anymore. I have the same problem, but I'm a 32-34 and wear a 36 just to get leg ... MoreThese are literally the only pair of pants you carry that my son can wear, and almost the only that anyone makes. Yes we do need custom pants, but only because clothing makers insist on selling women's clothes to weak men.The world is done with skinny stretch pants and the stores need to figure it out. Or go out of business and we'll buy up your machines and fix the problem. Either one works
My guys require separates in suit sizes - it’s great , and makes my life so much easier, when I KNOW I can turn to Haggar’s for these nice quality suit coats and slacks in sizes that fit their frames, without needing alterations! It’s a big plus that the suit slacks are available in flat and/or pleated fronts to accommodate my son’s like of the flat front, while his dad enjoys the forgiveness of the pleated style pants! And they both love the invisible stretch waistband for movement with ease! Offered in many color selections and size combos to fit every wearers’ body size! INCLUSION - It’s what it’s ALL about these days! And the savings coupons for the holiday was just icing on the cake!
I’ve purchased from this company before with no issues, online and at a department store. The fabric is truly luxurious to me - lightweight and cool, perfect for South Florida. Unfortunately, only 1 of the 3 pairs ordered (black, gray, khaki) fit me. The other two were labeled the exact same size and from same country of origin, I couldn’t even get them around my waist! I was so disappointed. I’m trying to work with their returns department but admittedly it hasn’t been as easy as I had hoped. I think I’ll just mail them back and take my chances… Anyway, I went to Kohl’s and was able to get my two other pants. I will buy from this company again, but never online because I can’t trust the sizing.
I absolutely hated these pants. As a bigger guy you already feel subconscious about being the biggest guy in the room. Add to that the typical unflattering fat guy look and that’s these pants, or at least what I feel the manufacturer felt when they sized these. Incredibly baggy and have no shape and make you look unkempt and sloppy. These pants aren’t a boost for your self esteem and were really just quite terrible. Im not asking for tight skinny pants. I’m obviously not that person or size, but just because I’m bigger that doesn’t mean I don’t want to wear something flattering and that doesn’t make me look bigger. Sorry Haggar, I was quite unimpressed.
I have been wearing cool 18 pro for some time and had to come to the Hager website to find them. These pants are a delight. They are lightweight and hold their wrinkle-free condition throughout the life of the pants. I don’t dry them because all they need is to be hung on a line coming out of the washing machine for any wrinkles produced from washing to disappear. There is plenty of room in the classic fits which I buy. Room is increasingly hard to find in other brands. So glad that Hager has continued to produce pants with sufficient room for ongoing comfort no matter your position. That alone will keep me a faithful buyer of this style. There is also consistency in the size. So far I can buy the same size with no fear of the cut radically changing from batch to ... MoreI have been wearing cool 18 pro for some time and had to come to the Hager website to find them. Last time I had to buy pants an inch too long because that’s all that was available. If you can find them, they are worth the search.
I’ve been wearing Haggar Work To Weekend jeans for years! The only ones I wear and I wear them almost every day.A blend of polyester, cotton and Spandex, they hold their shape( crease is nice) wash after wash.I guess those days are over. The 2 pair I bought earlier this month, on the Haggar website ( order #0017701094399), the ones you are asking me to review, are pure garbage.I wash all my new jeans once before wearing- don’t want color run.I noticed these were 100% cotton, not the material blend ALL my previous Haggar jeans were. After that first wash, both pairs were no better than “rags”- crease completely gone, shapeless, much like a pair of jeans that had been worn, rolled up and tossed in the corner.Seems a “sin” that such a prestigious brand ... MoreI’ve been wearing Haggar Work To Weekend jeans for years! After that first wash, both pairs were no better than “rags”- crease completely gone, shapeless, much like a pair of jeans that had been worn, rolled up and tossed in the corner.Seems a “sin” that such a prestigious brand like Haggar would change a timeless and successful recipe. It’s a good thing that I work in my garden planting- I’ll use them during my spring planting, then throw them away!Shameful!
I've worn these for last 20 years. I hated the previous pant styled due to over-done, over-glued leg creases. They looked terrible! These new models have normal looking pant creases. I tried two sizes, with my normal size being 36 x 32. I only use these for work.36 x 32 Before wash: Tight on the waist which is a BIG no-no. Legs perfect.36 x 32 After 1st cold wash: The waist elastic loosened up and the waist fits well now and looser. Overall more snug fit on the legs. The leg crease slightly faded which is OK for me. Pant lengths where unaffected by the 1st wash. These will work for me.38 x 32 Before wash: Perfect on the waist. Legs and the pant hips are WAY TO BAGGIE.38 x 32 After 1st cold wash: The waist tightened up. The elastic loosened up and fits much ... MoreI've worn these for last 20 years. Which means they are now unreturnable.
