The Handy Heater Turbo 800 has been super convenient for work. I am in carpentry and many times we work in buildings with no heat. I'm so happy I got to try out the Handy Heater Turbo 800! I'm always, always cold, no matter the temperature. I usually have 2-4 layers of clothing on during the cold months. Our home heat works great, but I still get the chills. I love the convenience of this Handy Heater, it's compact small size, & the fact that it works better than I could had even imagined or thought. I love that when I'm in my office I can bring it with me and plug it in near my computer while I'm doing school work or work work. Handy Heater turbo 800 when you set the thermostat to a temp instead of the Heater going into standby and restarting after the temp drops below the one set it turns completely off making the thermostat function unless as well as the symbols to control the Heater rub off after a short period. Also on the packaging it states it can be use in bathroom but in the small print in the instructions it warns not to be used in bathroom or laundry room specifically. This is dangerous marketing. Also following the instructions to reset the Heater a code CC appears on the display that is not mentioned in the instructions, when contacting Ontel about the CC code they stated they do not know what the CC code means.

I was excited to give this a try. I'd never heard or seen something so compact that could heat a space. The Handy Heater Turbo 800 is small and mighty for a smaller space, or if you're fairly close to it. It heats up the immediate area you're in pretty quickly (I was surprised) and what's cool is that it allows you to adjust the temperature you're seeking. It does have an odor the first time you use it but it seems to have gone away. Also, you do hear it working... meaning it's not silent... but also not terrible. It plugs right into the wall and what's cool is that there's a little button in the back that allows you to adjust the setting of the actual plug depending on your outlet. We should be able to submit video footage to show just how this device works and doesn’t work. Yes. It does blast very hot air into a small space. No the buttons do not mean anything. All of the buttons do randomize functions. Do unplug when not in use. The concept is better than the manifestation of the product. I would purchase two more if it worked as advertised. And there is no explanation for the CC in the little digital window. I read he entire book of instructions. I’m giving it three stars instead of two or one because it does warm a small area. However, it doesn’t work as advertised.

I had reservations on purchasing these two heaters as they were advertised on TV and usually, they don’t perform as well as shown. We needed two heaters. One for the powder room which hardly gets heat from the HVAC system and one for my wife’s bathroom which doesn’t get that warm either. We plugged both heaters into the wall socket and turned them on. I couldn’t believe how much heat these little 800 watt units put out! You set the temperature you want and once it reaches that temperature, it automatically goes into a cooling mode before going into standby mode. This little heater impressed me. Not only does it feature a digital thermometer, it also has a timer. One thing I found handy was the ability to turn the plug completely around if your grounding wire is at the top of your wall outlet. You can rotate the whole heater 180 degrees to plug it in if needed. It works well heating smaller rokm and kept a consistent temp. My only complaint is the price. Seems a little high but not by much.
