First off the crew at Gohunt have always been great to work with.The Yunkons are a well built boot, really didn’t doubt that. But even though I bought the Wide, they are not what we in the USA call a wide. Having a leather lining I’am hoping these will break in. They are feeling a little better, fingers crossed. I’ve worn to much to return.

Was torn initially if I wanted GTX or not, decided on the Yukon regular, and I'm glad I did. I've found them to be stiff yet supple, plenty supportive and perfect for general backcountry use. When treated with wax appropriately they are as waterproof as you'd ever need them to be. So far my only gripe is the width of the boot which was my own mistake as I should've purchased the wide version so they'd be slightly more accommodating for winter weight socks. The staff with Valhalla Pure are very helpful and accomodating. They did everything, including calling me to ensure the size and fit was correct. These are my favourite work boots. I spent 3 hours walking in the bush working yesterday. My feet were secure and dry

Love these boots. I have a wide forefoot and skinny heel/ankles and I’ve been struggling with heel blisters in different boots (Crispi lapponia, salomon quest, salewas). Never could quite find the perfect boot until these. I put them on and it was heaven. Ordered the wide version, couldn’t be happier.
Great Goretex-Free all leather hiking boot. Turns your feet into hooves. Break in period is smooth. Stiff but comfortable, gets less stiff over a a few weeks of easy wear.Worn in uniform in 32C temperature, the only part of me not sweating were my feet. Leather takes polish well. Although there was a strange defect in the leather on top of the toes on both boots, not a big deal, just surprising.
Used these on my most recent elk hunt. They were great. The leather lining is super comfortable and they’re wider in the toe box than most European boots. Fantastic boots.
Second time I wore the boots I noticed the tongue stitching started coming apart. I brought them back and they gave me a new pair no questions asked đź‘Ť. I've had brown boots in the past and these black on black sole boots really seem to show the dirt more than the brown ones. Only had the boots for a few weeks now, I'm interested to see how they hold up.
These boots. Where to begin... They are excellent quality. Amazing comfort. I bought myself a pair a few months ago and I loved them so much I purchased a second pair. I plan to always have a pair with me in my car if I'm not wearing them but let's be honest, I wear them every single day! I am so happy with my boots I recently ordered some as a surprise gift for my hiking buddy/best friend so now he also has a second pair of these amazing boots! The price is definitely up there but so is the workmanship and fine quality. Absolutely worth the cost, in my opinion.
Second day in these boots one of the speed hooks popped right off while lacing up, middle of a 20 mile appalachian trail section. Love the fit and feel and impressed with out of the box comfort.
My opinion, Hanwag are the best boot money can buy. I own several pair, they are comfortable and long lasting.Great service from VPO, with a really good selection of products.
