So far so good. This is a Christmas gift for my son. He loves Hape marble runs. He has quiet the collection. I like Hape products because they are made of wood not all plastic. The only toys I plan on keeping around for future generations. The instructions are easy to follow and the ability to create your own designs are endless. All the marble runs are compatible with each other building opportunities to enhance your design plans and take your runs to the next level. He is excited about the dominos.

Our very coordinated and smart 2.75 year old grandson loved it from the beginning. A great activity for adult/child interaction at that age, and in one week we noticed fine motor skill development. I would recommend bringing it out in stages over many days. First maybe 2 levels (hight and # of wooden runs) and one marble, then another level when that construction and use is solid (days later), adding the really cool stuff one at a time the last few additions. We only ever had 2 marbles out, which helped our boy focus on keeping track of them. Save the box and the instructions because there are a limited number of ways to use all pieces (still really fun if not all are used).
