I thought the 9V battery would mean it would last a seriously long time, over the two-AA varieties. But it doesn’t, it’s lasted less time than my other scales. So not great. I did spill milk on it, and now the Tare button doesn’t work properly. I tried taking it apart to see if I could clean it up, but sadly no. The circuit board sits under the rubber buttons, so be careful about spilling anything, because once it gets through the gap between the buttons, you can brick it.

Bought this because it was meant to be accurate within 0.1gm, but when I weigh coffee the value jumps around by at least 0.3gmIt is a good size, and will fit most espresso machine drip trays. However, the lag means one has to stop the pour 3-5gms before your ideal extraction amount. The scale tray is good, and batteries are included. The instruction manual, however, is minimal. It is built to a cheaper price point than other espresso scales, and this is evident with these shortcomings. To summarise, it is better than no scale, a little bit better than my weight watcher scale, but falls short in critical areas. My own feeling is that I should have spent more money and bought better scales.

I had been looking for a glass teaware to brew green tea, because the leaves of green tea are to be appreciated and the colour of the tea looks nice as well. This teapot is perfect for that purpose. The small size means that you do not need to put too many tea leaves. It is easy to use and to clean.

This is the ideal teapot for Asian high grade teas. The size is perfect for enjoying multiple re-infusions and the pour is easily controlled, so there are absolutely no drips. The strainer basket works really well and allows lots of space for the tea leaves to expand. We own lots of different styles of teapots and this is now my "Go-To" teapot...it is my new favourite. I now understand what the hype is all about with Hario.
This was to replace the same teapot which my cat knocked over and broke! Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size so I will order the bigger one. This one is nice for just a single person. I love the glass and being able to see throughmy cat knocked over and broke! Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size so I will order the bigger one. This one is nice for just a single person. I love the glass and being able to see through to check the strength of the tea.
