Hario Simply V60 Glass Brewing Kit

Looks amazing on the counter. Aesthetically pleasing. Does it’s job well, easy to clean. My new favourite set for making coffee. The server can easily hold 2 cups of coffee.

Simple and sleek filter coffee brewing set. I like that the base is removable for easier cleaning. My only wish would be for there to be a lid for the carafe.

Good Quality

The overall quality is good. The glass funnel is heavy and substantial. It feels good, not cheap. The funnel handle is plastic and has some internal cracking. It doesn't crack through, but has the look of cracks if that makes sense. That part feels a bit cheap, but not a deal breaker. The plastic handle can be removed though. The product is bigger than I expected, which makes sense if you want to brew several cups. It is less necessary for a daily one cup drink.

Good starter kit

I am enjoying building up my collection of glass coffee making toys and this kit is my first step into pour over coffee.It looks great, is very easy to use and rinse out. I haven't needed to use the scoop that came as part of the kit, and one other call out - the description says that the scoop is plastic while the rest of the kit is glass, but the actual V60 funnel has a plastic base as well. Given how securely it sits on top of the collection jug without any slipping I'm glad this is the case, but did not expect it based on the description and not having had one of these kits before.I think once I've worked my way through the included paper filters I'll try to find a more re-useable solution as currently it does feel like a lot of waste for single use.

Great way to make coffee

Very impressed with this kit and pour-over coffee brewing in general.The kit contains the conical dripper, a pack of filters, a measuring scoop and serving jug.The conical dripper and serving jug are very aesthetically pleasing, the filters seem to work great and the measuring scoop filled up is perfect for a single cup of coffee.The kit does not include other things that I have come to discover are instrumental in brewing a good coffee.First up is scales: it's much easier to measure out the water and coffee ratio with these, although the scoop and the markings on the jug may allow you to do without in the short term.Secondly, a gooseneck kettle or pourer is very advantageous due to the pour control it gives you. Hario V60 Glass

The order arrived in amazingly quick time and in perfect condition. I love the look of my little coffee station on the kitchen bench and I appreciate the need to slow down in order to prepare a cup of coffee. Pouring the water over the grounds is a mini meditative experience. It's a nice addition to my life.
