Hario V60 Ceramic Pour Over Set - White
Designed for the manual, pour-over style of brewing, the Ceramic Coffee Dripper brews extraordinary coffee right into your cup or serving vessel. The conical shape allows for deeper layering of the coffee grounds, producing a rich umami flavor. The single large hole provides the ultimate freedom; you can pour the water quickly for a light flavor or slowly if you like your coffee rich. Spiral ribs on the dipper walls allow the air to escape for maximum coffee expansion. The durable ceramic body retains heat to help ensure a constant temperature throughout the brewing cycle. The dripper is made from Arita-yaki, a traditional style of Japanese ceramics with a history of 400 years. The heat-resistant glass pot is microwave safe. It also includes a scoop along with paper coffee filters.

The coffee produced is absolutely clean and transparent. I am enjoying the quality of the drip - very different flavours from the Melita style dripper that I have been using. The server is amazing, retains heat very well and I even use it for tea!

It's very top heavy for the glass jug. I am almost afraid that I'm going to break itOtherwise it's beautiful

This pour over kit is great for brewing 30-60g for up to a few people. It has a sturdy build quality and is easy to clean. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy and is enjoyable to use.The only thing about it that isn't perfect is that the ceramic part is significantly heavier than the glass carafe so it feels a bit unbalanced. However, this isn't too much of a problem to get used to and it's easy to keep a thumb on the filter whilst holding the carafe.

Easy set up. Simple and effective..just what I was after. Thanks heaps guys.Looking forward to adding more to the collection in the futureCheers
There's a bit of a learning curve on this one & it may take a bit of experimenting to get the grounds at just the right consistency. Too coarse & the water pours straight through without much brewing, too fine & it drips through too slowly, becoming bitter. That said, with a bit of practice, you can make great coffee in just a few minutes.
Makes great coffee, easy to wash and use. Everything feels pretty high quality, even the measuring spoon feels nice, though I don't use it.

Does what it's meant to but most surprising is how quiet it is, no annoying beep! You flick the switch, it heats, when up to temp the only sound is the switch flicking back with a click sound. Perfect for all you early morning or late night ninjas not wanting to disturb the wife baby house mate etc. I'm using it for hario v60 pour over. The thermometer is good enough for this, the pour rate and angle is fine - great value for the price.
I have never brewed coffee before nor have I ever had any coffee apart from the instant stuff 30 od years ago. I don't drink it because the instant coffee gives me headaches. So I decided to try coffee again, and this time decent coffee, not the cheap and nasty stuff and I wanted to do it as simple and affordable as possible, and this little kit is what I found. Its simple to use you don't need to use the unique gooseneck kettle or grinder (i will purchase those later on). I use the prepacked ground coffee and follow the instructions on brewing, and it works no headaches and decent coffee. This simple little kit does what I need it to do and allows me to later expand on it with a hand grinder proper kettle and scale's, but for starting, I recommend this it's simple ... MoreI have never brewed coffee before nor have I ever had any coffee apart from the instant stuff 30 od years ago. The set is good value for money and i appreciated that it came with a lid. The addition of the filter paper makes it very convenient and has everything for you to get started. I completely recommend this as a starter set for someone interested in pour over
