About the brand Harman Kardon is nothing to doubt about its quality if you are love listening music thru speakers especially bass ones. The sound comes out so amazing and the battery lasts 8 hour and it can connect with 2 devices at the same time to spread out the music. They have more models more options for buyers. Awesome sound/price

I bought this about a month ago. I previously owned a Jbl boombox 3 that I paid $469 for a refurbished one off of Amazon. The battery died after 3 months and 10 days and Amazon was ZERO help since it was 10 days over the 90 day return period (of course )Thus my search for something better. My son had an original Onyx Studio - the first generation which sounded great so I checked out what Harman Kardon had to offer. The 6th gen was DEEPLY discounted since the next model had already been out. So I purchased the Onyx 6. Well WOW am I impressed. Its not the JBL Boombox, but the sound is crisp, clear and PLENTY of bass to please anyone looking for a fantastic sounding bluetooth speaker! Beautifully Designed Speaker

This bluetooth speaker is beautiful and the sound it produces is great. I chose the gray with the gold handle and it really is gorgeous. The rounded shape of it fits into any decor. Last year I purchased the older model that looks the same, but in the black. I loved it so much, I got this one for another room in my house. The sleek moulded handle is so easy to pickup and carry anywhere.I take the black one outside with me when I do landscaping tasks in my yard and the sound that comes out of it is phenomenal. Sometimes I carry it and use it in my car because the sound is so good.( I don’t have bluetooth system in my car).Charging this speaker is so easy because it is easy to locate the plug in on the back with a nice size jack. Best speaker I’ve used in my life, and inexpensive

This is the best speaker I’ve ever heard in my life. I first found out about this speaker when I was on vacation and saw one playing music in a shop. It was absolutely rocking the whole store.The bass does not disappoint, first of all. And it’s just so clear and nice sounding. You truly can tell this is a speaker for audiophiles, not just some random garbage from companies that pretend to be for audiophiles like Bose.Now I want to buy a second one so I can link them together!

I have a HK Onyx 4 that is tarting to look a little rough after years of use as hauling around but still kinds excellent. The Onyx 6 I just receive has the same outstanding sound as my 4, maybe a little bit better. Very happy with lol spectacular of this purchase to date. These are excellent bluetooth speakers with a very even sound output across the spectrum, good bass but not the kind from other speakers that just way overdo it and clear your intestines of blockages.

I own both Onyx 5 and Onyx 6. However.....

So I bought an Onyx 6 looking forward to the fact that it would sound exactly like the Onyx 5 I owned with the major improvement of IPX7.However. I couldn't hide my disappointment when testing both speakers I discovered my Onyx 6 sounded noticeably (but not vastly) muddled compared to my Onyx 5. The rich, Onyx-style bass was still there but not as clean. The treble wasn't as clean as the predecessor, and the slightly muddled mid-tones disappointed me the most. I stressfully debated whether I should refund this speaker to retain my Onyx 5, or keep it for the sake of the waterproof technology.Don't get me wrong- Onyx 6 in general sounds superior compared to almost all $200 wireless speakers, and for general people the difference won't matter as much. I use mine in an 18 wheeler

I bought mine almost a month ago. I use it in my transfer because my company truck has crappy speakers. This speaker is perfect for it, loud enough to overpower everything outside my truck and has bass you can feel. Only complaint I have is if you go over 85% volume it starts to sound really distorted. And don't forget to power cycle the speaker once a day. Otherwise the Bluetooth module glitches.

But upgrade it so that it has the updated Bluetooth capabilities of the 100+ unison pairing from the onyx studio 4. now for the physical design, bring back the HKOS3 design but instead of bilateral upright support, perhaps make it so there are 9 possible slots for the three legs it comes with just a bit longer telescoping/locking.This would protect the soft membrane posterior if the users(my self) would like to position the front up to the sky and the back flexible membrane facing to the floor. We've been owners of an Onyx Studio 2 for years. We loved the Onyx Studio 2 sound and portability. We used it at home, connected to the computer, at parties, at small events. The one thing we didn't like was the legs on it. A couple of years ago, one of them broke off and we had the hardest time keeping it glued back together.Well, we finally decided to upgrade to the new Onyx Studio 6 because we thought the legless design was much smarter, the white and gold version would match our decor better, and the leg on the old Studio 2 just wouldn't stay on any longer.We just set up the new Studio 6, pairing it with a phone and a computer (we also like that there is a 3.5mm jack).
