One of my biggest pet peeves for cinnamon tea is when they use a mid or low quality cinnamon. It usually has a bitter aftertaste. This blend wasn’t horrible by any means, but they definitely could have gotten a better quality cinnamon or skipped the synthetic tasting flavoring. It was very flavorful and aromatic. I prefer to mix mine with harvest blend herbal tea by Trader Joe’s to balance out the bitterness and tone it down some. It’s a strong cup of tea albeit a very small amount inside. It kind of reminded me of cinnamon oil or the stuff you would put on potpourri. You know, the lingering slightly bitter scent of synthetic oil to make it more aromatic but doing so causes it to smell and taste unnatural.

Great to warm up with in the winter.

So far I've liked every Harney & Sons tea I've had. I've switched from coffee in the morning to these cinnamon and spice varieties. Now that it's getting colder it's a perfect accompaniment. The cinnamon spice variety is a bit stronger than this one but if you drink it as much as I have this one comes with 20 more tea bags and is a great price. Since drinking the cinnamon varieties consistently my belly has gone down quite a bit. I know cinnamon helps with blood sugar regulation so this tea must be why. This brand of tea is high quality and you can taste it. This one comes with 50 bags and is a steal. I highly recommend.

Lacking when compared to the loose option

Bear in mind that the bagged Harney and Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice would rank 4/5 or 5/5 if not for the loose option.When compared to it, however, it is subpar.There seem to be less orange chunks in the blend, leading to less flavour.If you try to counteract that by steeping it for longer, too much cinnamon comes out and it feels like it's burning your mouth when you drink it.If you're interested, skip this and buy the Hot Cinnamon Spice in its loose form.If you've already bought it and enjoy it, you'll probably like the loose even better.

I heard this tea taste like fall and boy were they right! So cinnamony, so warm and cozy, this is a must have for the cold months. I've literally never tasted a tea this good, it is truly unique not to mention, the great ingredients. I do not however, like the packaging. It is very difficult to open, I have to use a knife every single time I open it. I don't appreciate the fact that I have to buy a separate container to store it but it is very delicious. All the reviews are correct!

My coffee replacement.

This is my favorite tea. I usually have strong black coffee in the morning. I found myself reaching for this tea instead. It is strong enough to have 2 cups from one tea bag and tastes so good it became a staple in my home. It warms you up on a cool day. It comes it a tin and an artisan sachet. Definitely gift worthy. Weirdly my abdomen is getting flatter...maybe the cinnamon is helping to regulate my blood sugar or something with the clove. Anyhow, I am now on my 3rd purchase of this tea and definitely would recommend it.

The Most Delicious Tea for those Cinnamon Lovers!

My first time buying this loose tea and holy molly I felt in love with it immediately! in fact the whole family is! it has a sweeter taste without adding any sugar which is great as I do not eat sugar but still crave the sweet taste; using a tea spoon goes a long way, sometimes I brew a second weaker cup with the same strainer and just add a little more; I just love it and you will too if you love cinnamon!

Viva El Sabor

Throw another log on the fire. The fire inside. This here cinnamon tea is the best in the business. My only question: does Harney & Sons put sugar (or some sugar substitute) in the mix? I want to know what is included in the "Artificial Flavors," because this tea is so delicious, so flavourful, it's hard to imagine it is all just cinnamon, orange peel, cloves and black tea. But maybe that's just how cinnamon works. Quality, you ask? No need to seek out other cinnamon teas. There's arguably only one better: the decaf one, also from Harney & Sons. Packaging? Hold on to the tin long after the tea is gone for a deep, aromatic inhale.

What a lovely treat

Hot Cinnamon Spice sounded enticing so I gave it a whirl and it was delicious. I followed directions and used boiling water and brewed for 5 minutes and I added milk. Meant to taste it without but got carried away so will do next time. Once the milk was added I was worried as it looked very weak and watery ..... but the flavour was very strong. I would not say I really tasted orange and it was not hot in a chilli sort of burning way but it was very comforting and tasted great. It was also very sweet without adding anything apart from the milk. I think I will use it mixed with Rooibos Vanilla Chai for a lower caffeine drink so I can drink more often. Lovely blend, beautiful packaging - will reorder as this one is a real winner. Recommended!

Year-round favorite

If you haven't yet had this tea, stop what you're doing and buy it and try it. This is one of my all time favorite teas, and although it's cinnamon spice flavor and you might think it holiday-time only, I drink it year round. Works well to brew a second (albeit more flavored water than tea) cup. It comes across a bit sweet to me but I think all natural flavors which is a nice change from having to add a sweetner myself. The 4oz package is a tin with loose leaves inside so once open store it properly upright.
