Can't believe I had to give away toilet cleaner, but this was awful, couldn't stand the smell and it looked like pee when in the toilet bowl. Where is the White and Shine? Like other reviewers am having to shop elsewhere for it.

We got this product from Ocado in exchange for an honest review. We tried it on our toilets, but it doesn't come off as easily as our other bleach products. It has a strong yellow colour that you have to really scrub off. The smell is a bit too strong as well. But the toilet did come out clean and shiny.

We were kindly sent this to review. I often find the fragrance in big brand cleaning products give me sore throat and streaming eyes so pleasantly surprised to find this product, which is of course sold on its fragrance properties, did not set me off. That said I didnt feel the smell persisted as marketed. Cleaned fine. Ill stick to my lovely Sage and Ocean Ecover.

This is NOT the white and shine with bicarbonate of soda. This version is purely bleach, with very overpowering lemon scent, no cleaning power at all (tried both several hours and overnight), leaves yellow thick residue that?s hard to rinse away. Waste of money.
Doesn't get rid of much limescale. The wording in the description under 'Features' on asda website is wrong. The bottle actually says, 'Kills 99.9% of Bacteria and removes limescale and stains'. It does NOT say it removes 100% of limescale, the two statements are actually quite different, it is deliberately misleading at worst and careless or lazy at best.
I accidentally bought this as I always repeatedly buy Harpic White & Shine (which is incredible). This has a very strong yellow colour and a strong smell, and my toilet bowl has a yellow tinge even after brushing it. Not impressed, I cant wait to use it up and move on!
I received this to try as a free sample. It has a very strong citrus smell - a bit artificial. It is very bright yellow which, as a previous reviewer has commented, can make it look like the loo has not been flushed after it has sat a while. I did not find it cleaned as well as my usual bleach cleaner, which I will stick with.
White and Shine is much better. Please restock. Will have to go elsewhere to purchase. Coloured contents like this one leaves stains
white and shine has far better cleaning power and smells so much nicer. Annoyingly, I have to source it elsewhere. Please bring it back Ocado!!
This product was provided free by Ocado in exchange for a honest review. I have been using this product for years, good for clinging to the toilet bowl when used, the nozzle gives a good directional application. The smell of lemons isnt over powering and gives the toilet a fresh and zesty aroma. Four stars as I think at ?1.39 is a bit over priced.
