Absolutely love these illustrated versions of the Harry potter books. This is the second one we have. I don't like reading the plain text books because I'm not a fan of the layout, not child friendly. But these illustrated books are a joy to read with my son. It's brought us closer because he can talk about Harry potter with me and I can read him the stories at night, which I didn't want to do with the original books.

Purchased this new version of illustrated edition of Harry Potter hard covered books for my grandson for Christmas and when I received the books, I was so pleased with this set. The pages are larger, more colorful and the illustrations is detailed and well done. If you’re in the fence about purchasing them, let me push you over and tell you it’ll be a great purchase with no doubts!

The pictures are so beautiful and accurate. I read all theses books Growing up and sometimes I was disappointed while watching the movie since something’s didn’t reflect the book (happens to all books right?). Slowly getting all the collections buying them on discount. The only problem is the discount sticker will be on the cover but is easy to take it off. Can’t wait to have them all!

This book was bought for my nephew who is only 3 months. He is much younger then the targeted audience, but his mom is reading them to him anyways. Until he’s much older, it’s more of a gift for her then him. I gave the first book in the series to her at the baby shower. Plan is to give him the third book in the series for his birthday and so on till he has the entire set (they still need to publish books 5-7).The illustrations are beautiful, as a long time fan myself, I loved flipping through the book looking at everything. I know these books will make the story more magical for him once he’s reading on his own.
These books are so beautiful! Love their illustrations. My 7yo loves them and wanted another for their birthday. … Yes, they have stickers on them and they are the easiest thing to get off without leaving any trace of it even being there.

Bloomsbury and Jim Kay have created yet another masterpiece that has been beautifully brought together. I bought this as a gift and the recipient LOVED it! It’s wonderful quality and a great alternative for someone who doesn’t want to read the smaller print original novels…although those are amazing! This book would make a great addition to any Harry Potter fan’s collection. Highly recommend!
