Absolutely love these illustrated versions of the Harry potter books. This is the second one we have. I don't like reading the plain text books because I'm not a fan of the layout, not child friendly. But these illustrated books are a joy to read with my son. It's brought us closer because he can talk about Harry potter with me and I can read him the stories at night, which I didn't want to do with the original books.

These books have been a great way to introduce my youngest son to reading aloud. He knows the stories so well but the illustrated versions make it that much more interesting to revisit them and work on his skills. And those of use how have read the books multiple times before just love Jim Kay's illustrations: the attention to detail, the new imaginings are just delightful

Bought as a gift, recipient was overjoyed to receive the book. Being hardback and illustrated makes this book quite special. I'm sure this book will be picked up and read many times by it's new owner.

Would be great to read with a child.Full text (unabridged) and lots of pictures. Big hardcover volume, could be unwieldy for kids, but makes J.K.Rowling's world accessible to a younger audience.
This book was bought for my nephew who is only 3 months. He is much younger then the targeted audience, but his mom is reading them to him anyways. Until he’s much older, it’s more of a gift for her then him. I gave the first book in the series to her at the baby shower. Plan is to give him the third book in the series for his birthday and so on till he has the entire set (they still need to publish books 5-7).The illustrations are beautiful, as a long time fan myself, I loved flipping through the book looking at everything. I know these books will make the story more magical for him once he’s reading on his own.
This book really brings the magical world of Harry Potter to life in a whole new way for a whole new generation. The illustrations are gorgeous and accompany the story perfectly. I cannot wait to one day read these editions to my children.
We got the book for our 6 year old who is completely hooked. The second book is illustrated just as well, if not better than the first!
Fantastic illustrations bring a visual versions to these books. Now looking to purchase the rest for my 7 year old.
I bought this for my great-nephew because I heard that he wanted it for Christmas. I already had a copy. I love these books and they're even better with Jim Kay's illustrations. Thank you for selling these beautifully illustrated books at a reasonable price.
Brilliantly illustrated. Really brought the stories to life for my children. Very exciting bedtime stories.
