Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets MinaLima Edition by J. K. Rowling
JK Rowling is the author of the enduringly popular Harry Potter series, as well as several standalone novels and a bestselling crime fiction series. After the idea for Harry Potter came to her on a delayed train journey in 1990, she plotted out and started writing the series of seven books and the first, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, was published in the UK in 1997. The series took another ten years to complete, concluding in 2007 with the publication of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Smash hit movie adaptations followed. The Harry Potter books have now sold over 600 million copies worldwide in 85 languages and been listened to as audiobooks for over one billion hours. To accompany the series, JK Rowling wrote three short companion volumes for charity: Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, in aid of Comic Relief and Lumos, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard, in aid of Lumos. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them went on to inspire a new series of films featuring Magizoologist Newt Scamander. Harry's story as a grownup was continued in a stage play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which JK Rowling wrote with playwright Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany, and which is now playing in multiple locations around the world. In 2020, she returned to publishing for younger children with the fairy tale The Ickabog, the royalties from which she donated to her charitable trust, Volant, to help charities working to alleviate the social effects of the COVID19 pandemic. Her latest children's novel, The Christmas Pig, was published in 2021. JK Rowling has received many awards and honours for her writing, including the OBE and Companion of Honour, the Hans Christian Andersen Award and a Blue Peter Gold Badge. She supports a wide number of humanitarian causes through Volant, and is the founder of the international children's care reform charity Lumos. JK Rowling lives in Scotland with her family.

Does not diss appoint- I usually collect an illustrated version AFTER reading the book but the movies grabbed me first. Lovely thick old paper feel to the pages - not horrible glossy stuff.

The artwork in this book is wonderfully done which brings the story alive. There is also a few interactive and moveable designs.

Beautiful illustrations to go with the story we know and love. I now have two of the MinaLima - Harry Potter books. I am eagerly awaiting number three to come out this year!
Beautiful books and a great introduction to the Harry Potter world for young children with the lovely illustrations. Great value
Such gorgeous illustrations. Great way for children to get into harry potter but as an adult I was so excited to read them all over again because of the interactive pop out illustrations and pictures
It’s a beautiful book. Amazing look and feel, and the illustrations are awesome. Still waiting for Christmas to gift this book. But I’m sure there’ll be one happy Harry Potter fan on Christmas morning.
Exellent book, the pop ups etc in this book are amazing, brings the book to life, beautifully illustrated, makes it a far more fun read for kids than the original copy of this book, teah we love this book.
I’m so happy with this wonderful book! It is such a fun, colourful addition to the collection. It was delivered so quickly and the price was better at Target when on sale than anywhere else.
I was actually a little worried that this might be a poor quality version because of how great the price was! I love Harry Potter and wasn't going to collect this version because I already have the origibal series and most of the illustrated versions, but I couldn't resist!
