Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling

My family’s favorite books ❤️❤️❤️ now my daughters love reading all the series over and over again. The books are nice with small chapters so younger kids are easy to read. Also it’s small and light so she can take them everywhere to read.

A gorgeous gift edition

There will be three tasks, spaced throughout the school year, and they will test the champions in many different ways … their magical prowess – their daring – their powers of deduction – and, of course, their ability to cope with danger.'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the bridge between the shorter, magical fantasy to the next three longer books. It is gets more darker, the story is more deep and layered, the villains are more sinister and visible. This gift edition hardback, presented in a beautiful foiled slipcase decorated with brand new line art by Jonny Duddle, will delight readers as they cheer and worry for Harry on through his fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Again and again and again and again....

I truly love that Jim Kay has teamed up with JK in this all new "sit down and go crazy all over again" illustrated and so different visual of the BEST series of books in the past and still very much present!!!! We absolutely love this new take of the books we couldn't put down, bindings falling apart because once one was finished reading the other never let it fall, having to buy 2 of each because one book could no longer stand the passing forward to the next reader in line!!!!!! They were literally falling apart but we kept on buying reading and talking for hours about what would happen next!!! Jim did an outstanding job keeping it the same(but fresh), changing the look(but staying the same, some how) and keeping us all coming back for round two, or in my house, ... MoreI truly love that Jim Kay has teamed up with JK in this all new "sit down and go crazy all over again" illustrated and so different visual of the BEST series of books in the past and still very much present!!!! (We've read them so many times) THANK YOU!!!!

Beautiful illustrations

Great quality and amazing art! Definitely going to buy the rest when they come out! Perfect for the Harry Potter fan. Only reason I am removing a star is that it came damaged, I had to tape over a rip in the cover.

Beautifully Illustrated- Lovely edition

These illustrated hard bound books are very high quality and the illustrations and design details on every page are stunning. These are not normal reading books where you can lay in bed and read. They are big and heavy, more like a coffee table book. My daughter loves to follow along in this version while we read to her from the normal paperback version in bed at night. It's been a big hit in our house. The text is the same as the normal paperback version of the novels.

Beautifully Well Written, Insanely Well Illustrated & Appointed! Truly a work of Art all the way around! Makes a great Display & a Read at Home book!

This is an incredibly well written and phenomenally illustrated large hardcover book that will last a lifetime. While it is certainly not the book to tote around various places for easy reading due to the size, weight, and cost. It is a PERFECTLY well done book for enjoying directly in front of you. The many details and appointments were clearly very well thought out. Look at the photos below to get a peek at some of the detail and beautiful art. This is a solid work of art all the way around for certain. Pros - Amazingly well appointed and illustrated!... along with the expected great writing of J.K. Rowling. This book is absolutely a book to own for a lifetime. Its solid feel and size rank as an absolute pro for a great display as well as a beautiful book to be ... MoreThis is an incredibly well written and phenomenally illustrated large hardcover book that will last a lifetime. Its solid feel and size rank as an absolute pro for a great display as well as a beautiful book to be read at home Con - The size and detailed appointments are both pros but would be a con if one was looking for a book to carry around "on the go" for reading bits of it at a time. It would not be the kind of book to tote around while traveling, or while at school, etc due to its size and weight. A paperback version or digital one would be much better suited for "on the go" reading.

If I know of others who love the Potter series, yes I would.

I plan on giving this book to my oldest son, Bryan for christmas. I already have the 1st three illustrated Harry Potter books for him. He's grown up with the Harry Potter since the story began back in 1997. He was around 8 years of age. He loved reading Fantasy based stories. I started him off on Piers Anthony's Xanth stories. He and his younger brothers enjoyed the Harry Potter series. Bryan and I even took sides on whether or not Severus Snape was truly a bad guy or a good guy. I chose that he was a good guy. Bryan didn't think so. The Harry Potter stories brought laughter, thrills and enjoyment to our family times together.

Never read, but I am impressed so far.

I have never read the Harry Potter series (I'm 36) so my wife happened to buy the first illustrated one. I got the others, and now the fourth one on pre-order. I am impressed with this one as I am with the others. This was also my first online order with BAM and they did not disappoint on the shipping. I was a little worried about the shipping conditions, but BAM wrapped the book in big bubble wrap and taped it down well. Book arrived on time and in pristine condition. I suppose I will stick with BAM for a few more years haha. I haven't read the book yet and there are plenty of reviews of the story and it's writing so I will just say that the illustrations are fantastic. They definitely chose the right artist for doing this type of series. I will continue to ... MoreI have never read the Harry Potter series (I'm 36) so my wife happened to buy the first illustrated one. I got the others, and now the fourth one on pre-order. For never reading them I sure picked the right type of book to read and the visuals bring out more of the emotion in it's story.

Sturdy, beautiful book

I just picked up this book yesterday to add to the boxed set of books 1-3 that is being shipped directly to me. Guys- the pictures are BEAUTIFUL and the book itself is heavy and feels important (remember the old school encyclopedia britannica books? it feels like that!). My 5 year old was immediately drawn to the pages and wanted to start it right away. Yes, my book also had a 20% off sticker on the front. I was able to very easily peel it off without any damage to the book. If you buy in store, double check the website price first - web price was 12 cheaper than in-store, but I was able to get a price match to their online price.

Way better than the movie

This book has so many details and that truly flesh out the story. There are characters and storyline that are left out of the movie, and they explain how the magic works so there are no plot holes like there are in the film.
