The book is beautifully written and designed with stunning illustrations. Fans of Harry Potter of all ages will adore it. Personally my favourite story in the series too. My son and I love reading this at bedtime. Were making our way through them all. For a used item it was in mint condition too.

My grandson has already read, listened to and watched the films of the first two Harry Potter stories. However, these illustrated versions are are absolutely delightful! Having been given No1, which he thoroughly loved rereading, enjoying the illustrations, he asked for this as a Christmas present. I know he will be delighted and these books will be treasured.

The illustrations by Jim Kay brings the whole story to life and and you just linger over each page more and it makes you feel more part of the plot. Not every page is illustrated but those that do have one are so detailed. It is one of the best books I have ever bought and I am now going to get the other ones in the series that have been illustrated so far. I can find nothing negative about this book at all. It is the best item in my Harry Potter memorabilia.
The Prisoner of Askaban has always been one of my favourite books of the series. It was created beautifully on screen and Bloomsbury and Jim Kay have reinforced the beauty in the form of this illustrated version. The backdrop of intricate and stunning illustrations lend themselves to the storytelling that is not only a pleasure for adults to view but also for the younger generation to interact with. My six year old loves Harry Potter, she has seen up to the Prisoner of Askaban (I think I will wait a couple more years until I acquaint her with the last 4 of the series) but to introduce her to the books has sat in the back of my mind for a while.
