We are big Harry Potter fans in our house, so my son was so excited that we got selected for this. He was so excited when he received it and asked if there were other wands.It arrived in a tall box, that reminded me of a tower, as the top had a triangular roof type shape to it. The wand itself is light and made out of hard plastic, it isn't bendy but with enough pressure I'm sure it could snap (so careful with it around little kids). My 10 year old son, who is a huge Harry Potter fan, immediately recognized this wand as The Elder Wand. Which is what Dumbledores wand is also known as in the books. Its a fantastic likeness to the original wand, and great quality. Easy to hold and weighted nicely and solid construction. Other wands weve had were poor quality plastic that was easily broken. Not the case here. Will be enjoyed with lots of imagination for years to come!

This was so fun to watch my kids test out play with. It is very realistic looking and has hooked my kids into wanting the full set! Our first to do was rewatch a HP movie and act alongside our favourite characters. So many opportunities for creative play, or a fun collectable for the HP obsessed kid in your life.

Great realistic looking toy that would be great for a Harry Potter collector or fan. Good for children who are into imaginative play. Allows them to feel like they are actually casting a spell. Would love a spell book instead of just a one spell card to increase the Harry Potter fun.
It came in a very nice presentation box, very high quality looking wand replica. But as a toy, I gave it to my kid, he played with it for a good 30 mins and then got bored of it fast. Its good if your role playing and dressing up so it'll match the costume and be a nice authentic looking prop, but as a toy, its not really an interactive toy. Unless they add a button to make sounds when you cast a spell and etc.

I received the Wizarding World Albus Dumbledore Wand with Spell Card free through #FamilyRatedClub #gotitfree. I opened it up and as soon as I did, the kids and I wanted to make someone levitate! The kids and I were making up their own spells to make their stuffies explode! It came with a card with a spell and how to wave the wand to perform the spell. The wand has a nice weight to it...not too light, just the right weight to make the wand gestures like Dumbledore :) I would love to get Harry's wand too!
We were a bit disappointed with the wand as we thought that perhaps more would be included. We like Harry Potter and thought this would be more suited to people who collect rather than a child's toy. Apart from that, there's no real activity to do with the wand other than use your imagination and let loose your creativity - which this generation lacks..lol. Thank you for giving my 12 year old son the opportunity to try this toy. He enjoyed it and had a few friends try it. He successfully got the spell down pat but would of liked to have a few more spells as it got boring of doing the same over and over.
