Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection DVD

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan since I was a young girl. It was the first series I fell in love with . I love the movies and actors. I wouldn't improve this product. Great emotion 💖 and full of surprises. I would watch again. I also love fantastic beasts. I have Harry Potter or fantastic beasts movie days heart 💗

I would have preferred some more details in the description of what you get in each package, and I hope that amazon does a better job seperating reviews from product to product as some of the reviews DO NOT apply to the 4kUHD set.

If you were a fan of the Harry Potter book series, you will also be a fan of the Harry Potter movies! There are 8 movies total - the first, The Socerers Stone was released in 2001 and the last, The Deathly Hallows Part II was released in 2011. This is a wide range of time for film making, so the quality of each film differs. However, the directors for all films successfully capture the illuminating and magical world of wizards and witches. The films all build off of each other, so I recommend watching them in chronological order for the best experience!

I love this box set. It always seems to make me smile. I remember being a big hp fan to be honest. I bought these as single dvd's as they came out. I throughly enjoyed them. My favourite 1 has got to be the chamber of secrets as its jam packed full of exciting wizardry. I have alot of favourite scenes in it, from the spiders in the forest to the magical joist fight with voldermort. It's awesome, following a young boy who was living under the stairs at his auntie uncles to becoming a man and having his own children in the final scene of deathly hallows part 2. Was sad to watch his own son catching the hogwarts express for his own adventures with his best friends children who he grew up with. Just brilliant writing from an awesome writer JK Rowling.

Damaged product and Walmart won’t allow the return

Case was broken and cheap so that the discs wouldn’t stay secured in the case. They were all floating around and scratched up. I tried to return them but Walmart’s policy is that if you open the case, they will not allow you to return them. $50 wasted. So disappointed in Walmart!

Eight like new DVDs

All eight discs were like new and played perfectly. The disc retainer that holds the eight discs in place inside of the plastic case was broken but that didnt bother me. The discs are loose and slide around inside of the plastic case so I put them in protective sleeves. Other than that it was like getting eight new discs for a very low price.

Fraud, selling copied DVD's as new

I purchased this Harry Potter 8 dvd set. It is a fraudulent copy. I have reported this to Warner Brothers but have no idea if they will reply so I'm letting you know not to buy DVD's from this seller. Very blatant copies. Different fonts, different size fonts, Harry Potter cut off. REAL DVD's of this set are BLACK with silver print.

Really, Best Buy?

So, I originally submitted this review yesterday, but it seems to have disappeared off of the site. Perhaps Best Buy was upset with my honesty? This disc set disappointed me greatly. Other sellers offer genuine copies of the movies that have individualized art on each disc, yet mine were all silver with terrible printing (see attached image). Some of the discs had badly formatted titles that went off of the disc itself. I picked up the set yesterday, but I cannot return it due to having opened it. I worry about exchanging it considering the poor quality I received this time. I got to testing the first movie last night and the video quality was quite grainy as well. I usually trust Best Buy with my technological purchases, but this makes me skeptical about the online reviews. I wish I had just purchased from Walmart or Target for the same price.

Universal way to add the primary Harry Potter universe to your library.

Here's a way to get all seven books in movie form. Well, with the last book getting the "lets break it into two pieces for profit" treatment from Hollywood... The plus on that is we do get more story than what we would have otherwise. This collection isn't High Definition of any flavor... it's DVD, so at least there is more hardware capable of playing them. It comes in one convenient case with all the DVDs within.No worries about accidentally misplacing a single case while binge watching.The case comes with a nice jacket decorated with Hogwarts and a few other elements from within the story, which is a nice addition. Fantastic Beasts, the newer Harry Potter story, and any other supplemental Potter universe stories are not included in this collection.

sad about some pixelation and skipping

these movies are fantastic. the characters and scenery are so beautiful and you almost feels as if you really know them. the actors did a wonderful job portraying every emotion so accurately you cant help but feel them as well. great concept, great everything. i think this dvd box set is a great deal. it is one of the cheapest options to own all the movies you can get. that being said, there was some problems with some of the dvds. some would skip, others would go really blurry and pixelated and distort but return back to normal after a while. it was minimal but still not preferred obviously. overall, i recommend this set. the imperfections are minor for what youre receiving
