Harry Potter x MGAs Miniverse DIY Make It Mini Potions - Assorted*

Visually these little surprise balls are stunning! They have enough ingredients to make 1 tiny potion and the amount of detail that has gone into the packaging is incredible. The quality is amazing and there are 15 different balls to collect. There is also a little hack to see what’s in each ball too which is a great way for collectors to not get as many duplicates. The only issues I had was the couldron was difficult to open and a few of the resins did not set with a UV light but for fun and a difference it’s been great. It definitely needs adult supervision however the instructions are so clear with pictures my 5 year old could do it. Looking forward to opening some more.

I was gifted this adorable Harry Potter mini set for my 10-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loves it! The set lets you create mini potions, which she thinks is so cool. It would make a fantastic gift for any child! She finished making the potions and decided to keep everything on the little table it came with and put in her room as a display. Everything was so well made and very easy to use. If you have a child around 10 they would definitely love this and enjoy mixing all the potions that it comes with. My daughter already asked us to buy her some different ones.

This MGA's Miniverse Make It Mini Potions Harry Potter Collection is sooo awesome! It is perfect for any Harry Potter Fan!! I love the tiny potions! It's soo stinkin adorable! I didn't realize these use resin to make the Potion, until I was mixing it up! That's awesome! I thought it was just liquids, that would eventually evaporate or spill, but it's resin so it hardens up and no worries about it disappearing!! I love this little set soo much, I'm going to get more!! Gotta try to collect all the different Potions!!

Aesthetically pleasing but not great for small children.

The end result looks good and my daughter was happy with it. The main reason I gave it 4 stars is that there's no way a small child could do this on their own. The resin is extremely sticky and I ended up needing to use rubbing alcohol to get it off my fingers. You should definitely wear gloves when doing these if you have them. It was a bit of a pain to get the mixture into the small bottle. I used a tooth pick to help shove it in. Once it was complete I let it settle for a few hours to let all the resin settle to the bottom. I then used a small uv flashlight to set the resin. Again the end result looked exactly how it does in the photos but this is the type of thing your child is just gonna sit there and watch you do.

Cute, but a few issues

It's a cute concept, but I do have some gripes. First, the seal would not come off the cauldron with resin, which made mixing and pouring more difficult and messier than it needed to be. Also, the container is supposed to turn into a cute little display for your potions, however my potion bottles are too tall to close the display "case" (I got dragon's blood). Not the end of the world, but it would be nice if they got basic measurements right for display purposes. I might buy again in the future, especially if these issues are addressed, because they are still cute

Great little set

It is really hard to open the resin. I have to have my husband or son help me open it. You should just use one drop of color in the potion or you won’t see all the cool stuff you put inside it. They are awesome sets and come with lots of cute pieces. I wish I knew to not put in too much color because now I need to make them again with less color! (Especially the murlap purple one, just use one drop!) Comes with so many details, a little messy but definitely worth the price!

No QC, hard to open, disappointed

I’ll start off by saying I am not a fan of Harry Potter but I love potions! My issue with these is the resin is contained in a cauldron which is super cute but it’s hard to get the top off and then the seal inside is even harder. Also you use mix-ins but it’s hard to get them out as they want to stick to the bottom when pouring. I followed their directions once but bought multiples and did them my own way for the rest. They’re cute for sure but the resin takes forever to cure. I would not recommend these as first timer to mini verse but the quality control and care has gone down over time and this series is a perfect example.

OBSESSED!

Absolutely LOVE this series! Mini Versw outdid themselves with this one folks! I LOVE them ALL and any Harry Potter fan will instantly love this series. The detail is phenomenal and you feel like you're in potions class brewing up your own "liquid luck" or Skelee grow! The capsules turn unti a clear potion bottle where you can display your potion. The table snaps in the bottom and it closes nicely. They give you a cork for the top of the potion bottle capsule. If you love Harry Potter you will love these! Mini Versw broke the mold with this one! Have a blast in potions class!

Resin is difficult but the potion is fun

The resin is extremely hard to pour and use but most of the other components were okay to work with. Overall I immensely enjoyed mixing and making my potion. The surprise element of which potion you get is exciting as well but of course, being a blind toy I’ll eventually get a repeat. It says 8 and up but even older kids will need help with the resin. Listen to all of the instructions and use newspaper or something under your work surface.

Worst resin smell. Mess

So, my daughter was so excited for this, we opened everything, the worst is the cauldron. It comes with a green resin smell slime inside of it. It falls of the bottle because it's thickness wouldn't go down to the bottle. We got all messy, and washed our hands 5 times but the glueness was still in our hands. Who approved this for kids? She was crying and I was trying to clean the cauldron so I could use other things for the potion but that thing won't wash away. She wants to play with it but that slime made it immediate trash
