Hartman 2.1M Market Tiltable Umbrella - Natural

So disappointing. Cheap and nasty. Fabric is flimsy and sewn roughly. Pole is lightweight aluminium that buckles at your touch. Will bin these, and get the beautiful ones with heavy canvas and wooden frame from Bunnings as soon as they are in stock. When you look underneath these umbrellas, it's aluminium and plastic. Ugly, ugly.

This umbrella feels solid and strong and looks terrific.. As I have a small courtyard this size is perfect to create the shade my plants & I need on these hot summer days.Looks good and sits firmly in the round granite base.

Confusing

Firstly I should’ve read the reviews because this is indeed half an umbrella, it doesn’t really specify that in the info although the name suggests it you don’t expect half an umbrella. Also the base is no where on the bunnings site despite it saying “base sold separately” then it’s impossible to find anywhere else online! But all in all it’s cheap and shading half a table now sitting in a homemade base made from a pot of dirt.

Good Value for constrained spaces

Does a good job for small spaces like apartments and townhouses. Wind mechanism works as expected and the fabric/material blocks out quite alot of heat (even when on a sunny no-cloud day). Definitely creates a cool area beneath it, we have furniture beneath it. The colour is modern as is the nice subtle fabric texture. Wind can throw it around, but as long as you secure it, it should be alright for most uses (it's collapsed in high wind settings).

Good quality & value

Brought cheaper one, (which broke on 2nd use-had bad reviews, should not be sold). This one is much better for extra $13. It is only 1/2-perfect for small space, wall at back. The wind handle easy. Alumin. frame & support. Lightweight-use gently. Not meant for windy area.

Great size and make

Half umbrella handy for balcony. Light weight and well made. Don't think it's going to be great in the rain however think it's made for sun shade.

No Base

I just brought this but impossible to get a base to suit… if I had known this I would of reconsidered getting it. Been a special order you would the base would be available too.

Not working as it should

Unfortunately this item does not stand up as it should, I had to return both this item and the purchased base. A headache, waste of time and money.

Perfect for small courtyard

It is a great for what I need. However, it took longer than I would have expected to receive., almost two weeks. I ordered something from overseas on the same day and had it in 4 days.

Rubbish

Struggled to find a small umbrella for my courtyard and this one seemed to for the bill. However the pole is incredibly flimsy and the cover has been fitted so tightly the umbrella doesn’t open unless one of the arms is taken out of the pocket. There are very few umbrellas of this size so I am keeping it - but don’t recommend it for anyone seeking a robust and useful product.
