Hask Charcoal Dry Shampoo 122 G

I really wanted to love this dry shampoo… however it just didn’t live up to my expectations. Pros: -smells really nice and fresh and in it’s name citrus -budget-friendly only $5 at target Con: - literally did nothing for my hair. I would spray it 2 to 3 times following the instructions closely but still barely getting any results besides my hair smelling really nice. My hair was still oily afterwards and I was left feeling disappointed. For its price point it is definitely an eye catcher as it’s budget friendly. However I would advise against buying it and just save your couple of dollars towards a better investment of a dry shampoo.

I LOVE this dry shampoo!! For the price, it is so so worth it! For reference I have thin fine normal straight hair. It doesn’t leave my hair feeling powdery and doesn’t have a white cast. It smells clean and citrusy. I find this comparable to even the amika $30 dry shampoo. It absorbs oil very nicely. I always recommend using it the first or second day before your hair gets actually oily so that it prevents oil from overproducing in the first place. This is a great high quality product with an a amazing price tag. I love to get the bigger size from ulta. It doesn’t leave my hair feeling chalky and doesn’t give me any build up.

Best inexpensive dry shampoo

I bought this on a whim because I was sick of spending $20+ on the prestige hair brands of dry shampoo when I go through them so quickly. I like Batiste, but I feel like my hair got oily/greasy really quickly with it. This dry shampoo is *chef's kiss*. I have outrageously oily hair and it does a great job of absorbing it and keeping it clean all day. It's also fabulous for texture and volume. I have dark brown hair and it definitely leaves a white residue, but it brushes out very easily. This is my new go to!

Buyer Beware! Gray label placed on top of blue can

Photos attached!Just received this item shipped from Walmart online, and it may not be what it's suppose to be. Saw light blue peeping out on top and bottom of can. Label felt funny and had tiny tear on bottom. Left over sticker residue on front of label as well. Now mind you I have bought this item a few times and never ran into this. I was able to remove more of the gray Hask Charcoal 4.3oz label and was stunned. Without tearing whole label off as advised by store,I was able to see another UPC code and ounces. The can itself states it's 6.3 US Fl.oz.. Not the 4.3oz the gray label on top states. I have no idea what item I purchased and would have used,and not thrilled whatsoever with this that I have to go to a store and deal with this.

Good value

I'm used to using high end dry shampoos and for the money, this works great! It doesn't leave my scalp feeling itchy and it has a light citrus scent that doesn't give me a headache. The only downside is that I have to use a bit more than the high end one I was using before because it doesn't absorb oil as well, but it's pretty effective for my oily hair and scalp and i haven't had any issues with buildup. May not work well if you go many consecutive days without washing hair as the effect doesn't last as long, so it requires reapplication. Still better than most budget dry shampoos I've tried, though.

Holy grail for dark hair

I’m Asian and I have long, straight, black hair that gets oily quickly. I’ve tried countless dry shampoos and this is my holy grail dry shampoo. Not only does it work, I LOVE that’s it’s clean with no sulfates or parabens! I’ve used up many cans of this and it will always be a rebuy. It’s the only dry shampoo that disappears completely into my dark hair, actually refreshes my hair, and doesn’t leave my hair clumpy or sticky. Plus the scent is pleasant and not overbearing. I love that target carries this and a travel size would be amazing!

Minimal Oil Absorbtion

This product didn't make my hair feel the "quick fix" that most other dry shampoos do. It lacks leaving the hair looking refreshed. My hair is dark and very thick and doesn't get oily at the root until multiple days post wash. I applied this product, I find it offered no volume and left my hair looking flat, weighted down and oily. I realized many had this issue after reading reviews prior to trying. I wanted to love it but will most likely keep it under the sink as an emergency back up.

My new favorite

My new favorite! My hair was in desperate of a wash when I picked this up. In fact, the dry shampoo I usually use was only making things worse. I decided to give it a try before I shampooed and I was amazed at how great it worked! It feels light, and clean. The gunky feeling was gone completely. And it looked great. There was a tiny bit of powder residue when I first sprayed it on (i used a lot) so I ran my hands through my hair and it looked really good after that. Oh yeah, the price! Lower than my usual brand (which thinks it’s an A lister now lol) I would definitely recommend this product.

The best dry shampoo!

The day after applying this dry shampoo my hair still looks clean! Other dry shampoos I’ve tried (even more expensive ones) I usually need to re-spray my hair the next day because it already looks greasy! The smell is like a fresh, masculine scent that doesn’t give me a headache and it is so much nicer than a lot of baby powdery smelling dry shampoos. My husband always tells me how good it smells. There is a white cast like all other dry shampoos but you just blend it in and you can’t see it at all. Been using it for a while now and I know I’m going to keep repurchasing

Very stronger scent

I'm not sensitive to odors, but this dry shampoo smells so strong that I choked on it for several minutes the first time I used it indoors. It's not a good scent, either. I have to step outside before I spray it in my hair and let it dry before I go back inside. Having said that, the white residue doesn't go away easily. You really have to work the product in your hair. I don't find that it makes my hair cleaner by any means, but it does add texture. I won't buy this again and don't recommend it to anyone.
