The 907X / CFV100C camera is stunning in its engineering, its appearance, as well as in the quality of the images it captures. When I first held it in y hand, I knew immediately that this was a beautifully made, highly efficient, and very user-friendly instrument. I have not been disappointed in any way. My interest is primarily in landscape and architecture photography. The touch-screen functions are easy to master and present an endless array of exposure options. My only criticism is that in bright sunlight details on the image screen can be hard to see and manual focussing can be challenging. However, the auto-focus mode is rapid and accurate. The optional viewfinder might be a useful adjunct.

My birthday is coming up and I wanted to spoil myself. The images I get with this camera are incredible as far and color and sharpness. I have used the camera with the XCD f/4 45mm p and f/2.8 135 mm lenses mainly in a studio environment.I watched several YouTube videos about the camera and all of their observations are correct: focus is not fast, focus hunting still happens, one has to slow down and take time before depression of the shutter. This is not a sport or high action photography. For those who shoot with Godox triggers, I found that the Godox N (Nikon) trigger does not work reliably, but the Godox L (Leica) works flawlessly for Manual mode only, TTL does not work.Vignetting is present for all Nikon Lenses if you try to adapt them to this camera. When ... MoreMy birthday is coming up and I wanted to spoil myself. My goal is to have 3 lenses: 135mm for portrait, 28mm for landscape and 45mm for general photography.I know it’s a lot of money but hey!

We adore this camera! It's a joy to hold, and a joy to behold—truly a classy Hassy. Among the phase detection, face detection, smooth operation, form, and waist level finder, it brings a lot of joy to the craft. The colors seem true-to-life, much like we experienced with the X1D II 50C. Paired with the XCD lenses, the 907X 100C is beyond pleasurable to use. It's a little camera that makes big, sharp images. We're glad we were able to purchase from B&H during the initial offering.

I’m a grown-up. I’ve been taking pictures seriously since 1973. In that time during the course of my professional career , there is no format I’ve not shot, no camera system I’ve not used, and I’ve owned dozens of them. Every once in awhile a piece of gear will inspire a new way of thinking, and, by effect provoke a type of creativity that might other not have happened. This has happened with the 907x 100c combination. I can scarcely put the thing down. I take it with me everywhere, forsaking other much smaller kits. The quality of the color science is in a league of its own. I am largely a black and white shooter, but this camera has changed that for the moment. I am largely a black and white shooter, but this camera has changed that for the moment. In fact it’s so compelling that I’ve now assembled a whole legacy 500 kit to use with the back, a whole set over vintage lenses….Still, dying to get my hands on the new 90mm.But yeah, I’m smitten.
The Hasselblad 907x is a really unique camera and I was dying to try it. I rented it for a few days of dark skies photography. It’s extremely difficult to focus in the dark, but the images it makes are phenomenal. As always the team at Lensrentals was great to work with. I had an issue with FedEx and they supported me very assertively through it.
Enjoyed shooting with the huge sensor on the Hasselblad 907X 100C. Beautiful color, great lens and nice interface. The controls are not slick though, and it does not work well as a street camera. Face recognition AF not totally reliable. Screen hard to see in bright Colorado sun. So glad I rented.
This camera is one of the finest pieces of engineering I have ever used. The image quality is absolutely incredible as is the build quality. It works well as its own camera, but the CFV 100c also works remarkably well on the back of my Hasselblad 500 C/M. The menu system is a joy to use, similar to using a touch screen on your smartphone. As you might guess, it is not good at everything. I would not use it for things that move fast like sports or action, but portraits and landscapes and even street photography are very enjoyable. It’s a very fun camera that produces absolutely beautiful, color accurate images. (I’m using the 45P f/4 and 65mm f/2.8)
This is a camera that's unique like nothing else. If you accept the deliberate limitations come with it, then there is nothing like it out there and this camera will offer a unique experience. There is something to be said about design aesthetics and philosophy from the old days. It's warm, elegant, slow, and deliberate. It's in stark contrast to the modern camera design that is fast, efficient, and convenient.Due to the fact that it lacks IBIS (for such high resolution) and it requires you to use both hands to hold, it forces you to slow down the photography process. You will take less photos with this camera in the same amount of time; but if you are like me, you will start taking more photos because you feel it's a piece of art and tool to record life.I ... MoreThis is a camera that's unique like nothing else. I feel it defeats the purpose of this camera. If I want to use it, I should have gotten the X2D instead.
I have rented this camera every time I go on commercial shoots so I’m able to shoot stills on location (for work and personal). I’m still trying to find its sweet spot for me in regard to lenses considering I love landscape but also am trying to get better at portraiture. The 24 was a fantastic lens but I’m thinking something between a 35 and 50 will be my next lens so I can capture both without struggling with finding/making space.Image quality is exceptional and I never have to worry about underexposure with all of the information captured in each frame as I’ve never not been able to bring out detail in post.Speed is average but again, this isn’t a run and gun camera. Street shooting is difficult but that’s not what this camera was made for and the fact that it ... MoreI have rented this camera every time I go on commercial shoots so I’m able to shoot stills on location (for work and personal). Previous 50c owner and I'm amazed at the quality this box produces. In addition to the internal memory the overall changes to this are worth the upgrade. I use this with several of the XCD lenses, my 500 with lots of older lenses and best of all...I use this with an adaptor with my Linhof 4x5. I also own the X1Dii and will be upgrading that when the X2Dii comes out based on the performance of the 100mp sensor.Oh whomever Jack is, that left a review a one star review, and admitting he hasn't even used it yet, because he couldn't get the strap attached, just send it back because you are not worthy of this awesome camera. Shame on you Jack.
