have a hands on experience and be able to enjoy it without putting a real animal in distress. The packaging was super durable and was impressed with all of the tossing and

This latest and greatest version of a Hatchimal is amazing! First off the egg hatching experience is second to none. My girls loved opening the Hatchimals Alive Interactive Electronic Pet! It was pretty easy to figure out, but be sure you follow the opening instructions on the packaging for the most fun! The whole opening process took about 5-10 minutes and we loved the mystery of finding out which Draggle pet we would receive inside our egg! We ended up receiving Splash, the water Draggle, which was the one my daughter's were hoping for, so it was even more exciting! During the egg hatching process, there were lots of colorful lights, movements, "smoke", and even sounds that could clue you into which Draggle you may receive. My daughter absolutely loves the Hatchimals interactive electronic pet!! It has given her countless hours of fun already! It was already put together when you take it out of the box so it’s super easy to just begin to use. It’s super cool and lights up and makes sounds once your egg is ready to hatch. Once it hatches you’re able to basically train it and it sings songs, talks, and dances. You can get two different kinds which are Fire and Water. My daughter got the Fire and that’s perfect for her because she’s definitely more like that as a person! We love it!!!... Show more

I was given this product in exchange for my honest review so here it is. My son helped me with this one since he is the toy player. Overall, it’s a pretty cute toy. The hatching took forever. I don’t think most kids would have the attention span to patiently wait for it to hatch. Once it hatched, my son had a fun time teaching it how to burp. It can learn quite a few things which is decently impressive. The instructions could be better. I don’t know why they felt the need to include the mist, but it stunk. It definitely took more chemicals than I wanted in my bedroom to produce that. The lights and sounds are cool. It’s amusing that it sings happy birthday to itself. This is such a fun toy!! For this version you hatch either a draggle or pufficorn. I hatched this egg with our kids and it turned out to be a draggle which was perfect for my son! Hatching the egg was the most fun part, you have to interact with the toy to get it to hatch. My kids had so much fun talking, petting and rubbing the egg to get him to hatch. This version is updated so it hatched it a timely manner and no one got bored, this version also has smoke and lights added so it was super cool. It also has hatching noises so that was an awesome added effect. The plush has more than 100 reactions and sounds so it’s not just one of those useless surprise toys. It’s really cute and soft too. This is one of the coolest interactive toys I've ever seen. My 8 and 6 year old absolutely adore this. It was a mystery on which dragon we would hatch. The experience of hatching the egg had the entire family circled around it watching in awe. You have to interact with the egg to put it into hatching mode and then set it down and watch the fun. I couldn't believe how realistic it was circling around inside the egg pecking away all around in different locations until being able to reveal themselves. We hatched the fire dragon and the sizzling sound and red light when he hatched really added to the experience. My daughter loves hatchimal since she is 5 years old! She collects almost all the small ones that come from the small eggs that you rub and make it cracked. Now she's 8 years old, and I thought the big Hatchimal Alive interactive pet would make her excited all over again!And boy! This interactive hatchimal is phenomenal! Basically, it will slowly crack little by little like how normal eggs are supposed to do, and then you can help to crack it too (it's very satisfying) and the baby Hatchimal Alive will sing a happy birthday song!Not only my 8 years old amazed with it but her 1 year old little sister also!ItThe packaging is very nice and it's very big size, very good for birthday present gift.
