This was a nice dinner jacket and I thought I looked very nice in it. But the jacket was just too tight and could not move my arms very much. It could be how slim it was, but it also seemed a little small. The navy blue is very very dark navy closer to black.

Jacket arrived speedily, for which thank you. Your 42 long seems to vary (smaller) than my US 42L. Also, the jacket came as “SLIM”, and as a result does not fit me (6’-2’, 185lbs). I do not recall an option for “regular” or “full” not do I recall a notation the the offered jacket was “slim.” I will return the jacket for credit or for one in a size that fits.
Honestly I have shopped with you guys for years, but I am highly disappointed on the treatment I have gotten from your company. How hard is it to exchange a suit that is small to a size up. I have contacted your customer service via live chat and every time they are engaged. Sent an email we are engaged too. So tell me if you are all engaged how do you attend to a customer. I just want an exchange please. Update: The response I got from your team was half hazard, I have returned the suit so I can have it exchanged to 42R I don’t want a refund but an exchange, I sent your customer support an email nothing. Please can someone reach out to me.
Something very strange about the way the sleeve buttons are sewn on see photo. Is this a British style design? Terry OdenDid u get my msg with photos?
Material was exactly what I wanted. The fit was decent but a bit tight in the arms for a stock suit. Unfortunately, the matching pants were way to tight so I had to return both items. Will definitely consider Hawes & Curtis again for future suiting but would go with the Tailored or Classic fit.
Nice fit. Had some finishing issues a thread or two hanging out hear or there otherwise pretty satisfied. Would love if next time before dispatching the needless thread could be chipped.
Having worn Hawes & Curtis clothes religiously for 15 years, this blazer once again justifies the reason for my consistent patronage.This blazer exudes class without being loud. I'll continue being a loyal customer. Who knows, I might become an ambassador someday 🙂
