The KORE 87 is the ideal ski for piste days and trips into the backcountry offering outstanding performance in a super-lightweight package. HEAD consistently puts the focus on weight savings. That doesn't mean the ski is too soft - on the contrary performance is improved by saving unnecessary weight. HEAD installs lightweight Graphene in tip tail to achieve optimal weight distribution. The light but stiff Karuba wood in the core is enclosed by a triaxial carbon fabric which makes the ski torsionally stiff and stable. The Sandwich Sidewall construction and the new Top Sheet complete the package of the KORE 87. The Kore skis now come with a karuba / poplar wood core whereas the previous skis were reportedly purely karuba. The skis get two layers of carbon fiber reportedly one more layer than the previous skis. This should help reduce top sheet chipping.

Perfect! Light, Nimble, and fast.
Bought these for my mom. She loves em. Incredibly light while maintaining great stability.
