Head & Shoulders Smooth & Silky Anti Dandruff Shampoo 400 ml

I'm impressed! Although, I don't have dandruff, I found myself using Head and Shoulders shampoo brand when visiting my brother for the weekend. Didn't realize I had forgotten to pack mine from home until I was literally about to hop in the shower. The only shampoo my brother had was Head and Shoulders. Was reluctant on using it because, as I mentioned previously, I don't have dandruff and I have color treated hair. I decided to Google it right quick just to see if it was safe to use on my hair while in a pinch and to my surprise it specifically said it's safe for color treated hair! I'm happy to say the outcome was excellent! My hair was happy!

The most effective anti-dandruff shampoo I've found that leave my hair healthy looking, flake free, and touchable soft and silky. No other brands I've tried compare to Head Shoulders. It gives me the confidence of knowing my hair will look its best all day long. I never have to worry about embarrassing white flakes from ruining my day again. Other brands have left my fine straight hair looking either greasy and weighed down, or very dry and brittle. With Head Shoulders my hair is left smooth, bouncy, and healthy looking. I would never go back to any other brand.

I recently tried this shampoo because I did notice I was getting little flakes when I would scratch my head mostly on my left side. So does this work? Yes! It does! That’s why it’s 4 stars from me. After only like 2 washes I could notice a considerable difference in the flaking and itching of my scalp. However, those of you who have this problem must also know that usually the MAIN cause of dandruff is moisture! So you need to also or first of all make sure you are using a blow DRYER to dry your hair after you wash it. So those 2 things combined should nip that problem in the butt. Some dandruff shampoos were hella expensive too while others like the CVs brand were much cheaper and I did notice that the CVS(cheaper) brand DID have the same (2)% percentage of the ACTIVE ingredient. So that’s cool you could just buy that one probably. However I do feel like the name brand one is always just better for some reason. But I’ll still buy the CVS or cheaper brand it just depends how much money I have.

There is plenty of product to last you months. So I'd say this if good value for money. The product itself had a very nice scent ( a little too strong sometimes) and lasted a long time. The product was smooth to apply to your hair and easy to lather up. Even without the parbens, phosphate & parrafins, it stills lathers up great. You would only require a small size amount to the achieve results. It was easy to rinse off. My hair was less frizzy and did feel a lot more smoother since using the shampoo & conditioner together. It was fine using it on coloured hair, I did not find it fading my hair at all. The fact that it was free from the mentioned additives was a bonus for treated or coloured hair. Hopefully, with promising results I can reduce the amount of times I will need to wash my hair every week down to 2-3 times.i would continue using both the Shampoo and Conditioner together and will continue to use this product throughout the cooler months as this is when I have more obvious dandruff. Given that the product and brand is also easily accessible in supermarkets, this product has been a win. I would recommend it to anyone on a budget, has scalp issues or fine hair, as we all know it can be difficult to find products that work well for fine and sensitive hair.The Head & Shoulders brand has once again stood up to its name and delivered good products and results.

Great for fine and thinning hair

Scalp problems are relatively new for me. I am in my late 50’s and have developed thinning hair and a flaky scalp. I used to wash/condition my hair everyday but now with my hair thinning I have had to reduce that to twice a week. This has given me a greasy scalp with terrible flaking and itching. Ordinary shampoos/conditioners have had no effect on the flakiness.I was really happy with this shampoo. I didn’t need to use a lot of product and it lathered up beautifully. I was so excited to try the new head and shoulders smooth and silky shampoo as I had previously used it before, now it is labeled with up to 100% dandruff reduction and was very happy there was also another label with stating that 0% Phosphates, Parabens and Parrafins were added I could only anticipate the results would be fantastic but was also intrigued to see if the forumla delivered the same results without the nasties. The packinging looks beautiful with a big pretty pink flower on the front.When I open the lid and sniffed the product and it smells beautiful I just used the size of a 50 Cent piece amount into my palm as I have very thick hair I need a fair amount it foamed up very well which I like. It was a great piece of mind having flake free hair and not having to always check my clothes that all was clear.I would highly recommend this shampoo for dandruff free, soft and manageable hair.

This is by far the best shampoo I have used to address my flaky and sensitive scalp. After the second wash I could notice far less dandruff in my notoriously dry areas and by the fourth wash, my scalp felt less dry and itchy. What I love about this shampoo is that it not only targets my dry and flaky scalp, it also leaves my hair feeling so nourished and soft! I like that it was developed by experts, so it does give you peace of mind, knowing thought has gone into it.Compared to other products I use and have used in the past, this one was about average. Not great, but no the worst I have ever used. My advice would be to use the matching conditioner for greater results. Also, if you are really sensitive to smells, don't buy this one as it is so powerful and strong.
