I purchased my first Head Extreme Pro after reading third party reviews that consistently said this racquet was excellent for power and spin (with standard strings), which is exactly what I was searching for. I wanted to maximize my top spin so I purchased my first one with Head RIP control strings. The racquet had great feel straight away and excellent top spin capability. Each time I played wirh the racquet as the strings relaxed slightly the power improved to a level I am very happy with. The frame is very rigid and the standard grip very tacky and comfortable. I am mightily impressed by this racquet and went back to purchase two more. I have only just bought one with the standard Lynx strings, which I am yet to try, to see how they stack up with the Rip Control ... MoreI purchased my first Head Extreme Pro after reading third party reviews that consistently said this racquet was excellent for power and spin (with standard strings), which is exactly what I was searching for. Brilliant power but arm friendly racket

Pleasantly surprised by this racket. Most reviews online were not very good which now I find to be very surprising. I've tried almost every racket out there and currently have the hear speed pro+mp, extreme tour, gravity pro+mp and now this and I am loving this. Out of the box I did find it lacked a bit of plow but just adding 1 gram of weight at 3 and 9 totally transformed this racket for me. Feels like a very arm friendly version of the Pure Drive. Had some of my best serving games in a long time with this racket and the volleys were simply super. Outstanding stability and control with the weight. To summarize, it's a brilliant racket for beginners looking for easy power and it's an even better platform racket and if you know what you are doing this racket is ... MorePleasantly surprised by this racket. It's a beautiful racket. Bought this as a beginner as a 24 y/o and it's been great to use so far! Can deffo compete with the big boys & gals with this one. Add a good HEAD grip and a HEAD dampener and you're good to go! 5 stars.

Great Beginner Racquet
11 March 2022

I bought this racket a couple months ago, and have played at least 20-30 times.(no grip problems as of yet) It has done everything I expected and more. I'm no tennis expert, however i would consider this racket to be quite versatile. Not sure if i just picked up on the game faster than a friend who i started with, but he opted for a 90$ Babolat and I beat him every single time. It seems to provide just enough spin capabilities for an intermediate player, however I can say the sweetspot seems to be rather small. This has helped me progress, but i seemed to get it figured out after 1-2 rounds. After all this discussion, I'll end it with a few words. Nothing better for the money... Period. If i was to place a value on the racket, I'd say its worth $50+.(I'm extremely ... MoreI bought this racket a couple months ago, and have played at least 20-30 times.(no grip problems as of yet) It has done everything I expected and more. I dont leave reviews, but I noticed it wasn't 5 stars when it surely should be.

Great for 'experienced' beginner and up

I am really happy with it. I bought this as my second tennis racquet moving on from being a really fresh beginner. It's nice a light while still getting a good 'feel' of hitting through the ball and making contact.

Happy purchase

I have used Pro version of Head extreme previously that was bit heavy for me. As my current fitness level it suits my game much better. It offers very good power and control balance. Bigger head size has bigger sweet spot it. It would be an excellent choice for many club level players.

Horrible

I purchased this racquet as a intermediate player with hopes it would aid my immense strength and my high skill set. After playing with this I found it to be weak and provides no power. This has left me wondering why I would ever pay so much for a bad Racquet!!! Not only am I saddened by wasting my money I am furious with the company for lying to me and it’s other customers about this price if worthless scrap.

Intense Power and Spin - Best for Beginner to Intermediate players looking for Power

This is an amazing racquet and at the current price is an excellent choice for upcoming players.I would classify this is as a Game Improvement racquet. It is a medium weight, easy to swing and has a huge sweetspot in the middle of the 100" frame. It delivers huge power and has a lot of spin potential even with the stock Head Lynx strings. If you have a short swing, lack natural power or maybe have suffered some injuries and need a racquet that will give easy power then this is your racquet. It is a great choice for Intermediate player seeking a high potential mixed with extreme power.I play a lot of flat line drives and found in games was going too deep or out and struggled to control the power and decided it wasn't for me.I wouldn't recommend for any players ... MoreThis is an amazing racquet and at the current price is an excellent choice for upcoming players.I would classify this is as a Game Improvement racquet. At net, was a similar issue with a lot of power and lower control with the big sweetspot.

Di not use the racquet but clients find it very comfortable to play with it. All are ladies over 60 and they especially like the size and balance. I always have one on hand to sell to customers.

This was a great racket for the price that we got it at. It’s been a month shy of a year since I brought it for my daughter. 2 strings have broken and now we’re searching for the exact racket again. The price is double what we paid so I might consider other options this go around. I really hate to. She absolutely loves playing with this one.
