OpenRun Pro Mini - advanced headphones are made more comfortable for those with smaller heads. With a half-inch shorter headband the OpenRun Pro Mini feels more secure, stable and light for those who find the standard headband a little too roomy. With all the same technology as the OpenRun Pro (standard version), OpenRun Pro Mini is only different from the standard version in size. Have you ever thought about how the size shrink will benefit you? If you already own a pair of Shokz headphones, you might know there will be a behind-head section that wraps around your head. If the band is large for you, it may bounce a little bit while you are doing some intense exercise or endurance sports. If this is the case Mini will be a game changer, it will allow you to do your favorite sports with fewer distractions. What's more, the shorter headphone band will improve your experience of resting your head back or lying down. Better for when you are sitting in a train or plane seat and using the head to rest. You may be wondering whether a smaller size means there will be some differences in the weight, the answer is an absolute yes! A lighter body means less tension on your ears and is closer to a feeling of weightlessness. In summary, OpenRun Pro Mini will be more stable, more comfortable, and even lighter if you have a narrow or small head.

I don't always find the right one first time.I find these far more comfortable than ear buds which often fall out or the tips go missing. It is a great bonus to be able to still hear what's going on around you so I can appreciate the safety aspect for joggers and cyclists. However, music sounds fine to me if you don't mind the occasional bird song or dog bark chipping in.Battery life is fine, maybe 5-6 hours before it needs recharging. Does seem to run out quickly when it gets low though. It gives you warnings at 20% and lower.Nice protective case with short magnetic charge cable.Overall very good and I'm very happy.

I purchased them for mountain bike riding, since it's a big no-no to have earbuds in on the trails They are sweat proof, which is another reason for my purchase. As for the sound? Look, you should know going in that these things aren't going to sound like anything high end that goes in your ear. Having said that, this model does have extra bass boost which gives it punchier sound. Being outside the ear, they do conduct the sound very well and I'm always able to hear other riders coming to behind me and hear the music as well. For this purpose they are great. I got the mini size and it fits fine when i have my glasses and helmet on. I honestly don't even realize they're on sometimes. Are they worth 200.00? Debatable, but if you have a specific need for sometime like ...Ā MoreI purchased them for mountain bike riding, since it's a big no-no to have earbuds in on the trails They are sweat proof, which is another reason for my purchase. The Shokz OpenRun Pro are a great set of headphones which allow you to enjoy your favourite tunes without blocking ambient noise maintaining situational awareness; they meet a different need to in-ear noise cancelling headphones.I've used my partners OpenRun (standard) headphones and found the headband to be a little too big. When running and cycling this wasn't an issue, but in the gym when using a bench or equipment you inevitably catch the headband quite often. The OpenRun Pro headband is much smaller and a snug fit, which I found more secure when running and almost unnoticeable when using a gym bench. As I'm shortsighted I was worried they might interfere with my glasses when exercising, but they actually provided a little more security and were extremely ...Ā MoreThe Shokz OpenRun Pro are a great set of headphones which allow you to enjoy your favourite tunes without blocking ambient noise maintaining situational awareness; they meet a different need to in-ear noise cancelling headphones.I've used my partners OpenRun (standard) headphones and found the headband to be a little too big. When out in the countryside I actually enjoyed some of the natural background sounds giving the perfect balance of enjoying the outdoors and your music.Paring to your phone is very quick and easy, the battery lasted almost 2 weeks (>10hr use), and the hard shell case keeps them safe in your gym bag.Considering the audio conduction method I was suprised at the high audio quality. The only limitation is having just standard and vocal equaliser options, changeable via the app. Some competitive products offer more variety including heavier bass; however considering the increased safety of still hearing ambient noise, I feel it is a fair compromise.I have always found in-ear headphones become uncomfortable during longer workouts and can often come loose - this is a significant benefit of the open ear design of the OpenRun which stay secure & comfortable even on rough terrain!I highly recommend the OpenRun Pro!

Awesome wireless headset! Got these for my husband who works as an airplane mechanic and recently started going to the gym. He would complain about his ears hurting with earbuds or the top of his head being sore with the headphones and the length of time he would wear them.He also HAS to be aware of his surroundings during work so I did research and VOILA! Found the Shokz Openruns and these have been awesome for him! No soreness to be had and he can be completely aware of his surroundings while also getting quality sound and a secure fit.The battery life is also phenomenal--he wore them for 16 hours, on the entire time, and only drained 15% of the battery. He also noted that the bluetooth range was pretty far.Bonus: he said, even with a plane engine turned on ...Ā MoreAwesome wireless headset! These headphones are awesome. It took me a bit to get used to them cause the bass tickled my ears when it vibrates a little on the side of your head but you get used to it quickly and don't even notice it. These are made so you can wear them and still be aware of your surroundings because you can hear all the outside noise so if you are looking to block that out these aren't for you. Actually if I turn up the volume on these listening to music it's really loud so you still may need to turn them down some if you want to listen to someone talk close by and listen at the same time. I wear mine a lot to watch movies and still be able to hear if someone says something to me. Also the battery life on them is excellent. I can go all day with normal use and it doesn't lose ...Ā MoreThese headphones are awesome. They also have an app you can download on your phone and with it you can connect to 2 different devices at once so no need to disconnect and connect to something else. You can put 2 things you use all the time and that's it your all set. I'd buy these again if I ever need to, or if they come out with a better model and I want to upgrade, but for now these are awesome.

First, let me say I already have a āmainā pair of headphones: AirPods Pro 2. I bought this as my second paid of headphones for a specific use case: Exercise and for any time I wanted to be aware of my surroundings. It took a week or so for me to really get used to this new way of listening to music, podcasts, and audio books. Once I did, something stragne happened. I kept reaching for these headphones over my Air Pods Pro 2 (USB C). Going to the gym, I took these. Listening to podcast at work, I took these. Now the scales have switched and these are my āmainā headphones and only gragging the airpods pro when I want noise cancellation. Donāt get me wrong, you will still want noise canceling headphones if flying or constantly trying to block out the sound around you. ...Ā MoreFirst, let me say I already have a āmainā pair of headphones: AirPods Pro 2. I recently purchased the SHOKZ HEADSET from Best Buy, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations! The sound quality is fantastic ā whether I'm on calls or enjoying music, the clarity is impressive. What sets this headset apart is its exceptional performance even in noisy environments. With small children around, the background chatter doesn't interfere, and my family hears me crystal clear. One of the standout features for me is the comfort. As a parent, I appreciate that it's not an inner ear piece; instead, it's a comfortable headpiece. I often find myself misplacing small items, so having a headset that stays securely on my head is a game-changer. These headphones are so cool! The concept of using bone conduction to deliver sound waves āinto your earsā is astonishing. These are excellent for someone (like my husband) who works in a shop where he needs to be alert and needs to hear his surroundings but still be able to listen to music and be able to answer his phone as well. I can also see how it would be beneficial for someone who works in a factory where ear plus are required. Your ability to listen to music while also utilizing ear plugs wouldnāt be compromised. Iāve actually suggested them to my uncle who wears hearing aids so he didnāt have to worry about ear buds and hearing aids. The only reason I didnāt give this particular paid 5 stars is because these are the āminiā headphonesā¦.when trying on in the store they have been put off and on by several people over the course of time and it can be deceiving that the regular sized headphones would be too big for you. My husband bought the miniās based on fit in the store and ended up having to return for the larger size. It is understandable that the ones in the store get more than average use but just be aware. It would be really awesome if there were an adjustable pair. Other than that, they get 5 stars from me.
Product is great! Customer service was unbelievably horrible. FYI- if you buy this product on the Shokz website, premium is large, mini is small. When you buy them at this store, they are two separate SKUs and items. I bought my husband the minis at a Christmas sale. They didnāt fit right. He took them back in to the store to exchange for the larger size a couple of days after Christmas. He was told that because they are different SKU numbers, he couldnāt exchange it. So he returned them and tried to buy the larger size for the price they were at Christmas. He was told they could only honor the price if they were the same item, but because they are in the Best Buy system incorrectly, they wouldnāt honor the sale. They also couldnāt return the ones to him that he returned for the exchange. So his one Christmas present that I saved for was gone, he got no replacement, and the store manager was absolutely RUDE. He left upset and embarrassed, since she treated him like he was stupid for ānot understanding,ā even though he was trying to explain that pro premium and pro mini were only size differences- nothing else is different. He left and called Best Buy customer support and was told it would have been simple for the manager to override and that she should have just done it, but they couldnāt on the phone. Now is has nothing, doesnāt want to go in his favorite store, and we both have a bad taste in our mouth. My advice: the Openrun Pros are totally worth it and awesome- but DO NOT buy them at Best Buy until they fix the issue with the SKU numbers. We will be purchasing these again, when they go on sale again- probably from somewhere else.
