Product is good, but Chewy, along with the manufacturer keeps raising the price. Why? Because they can and people have to pay to keep animals safe. Check out their CEO’s wages and bonuses ( as well as other companies) and you will find a bigger increase there than you ever got. The first company that starts to FAIRLY charge customers, will catch the biggest market share fast. People have to speak out and say “ enough is enough”! Upper managements are causing inflation to rise, not supply and demand. When was the last time you saw a shortage of anything? It is an excuse to charge more so that management can get obscenely richer. But product itself is good.

Chewy gets 5 stars from me on their pharmacy products

My veterinarian just told me that her clinic will no longer work with the Chewy pharmacy because the medications are not guaranteed, whatever that means. I think that they just want their clients to buy from their pharmacy. I will be looking for a new veterinarian. I have never had any issues with any of the meds that I have ordered from Chewy and want to continue getting lower prices and the fastest shipping. I highly recommend the Chewy pharmacy to anyone who needs to buy meds for their furry kids. They are top notch.

Confusing and super big hassle to order

This is my first time ordering from the Chewy pharmacy. I needed Heartgard plus and bravecto for my dogs. At first, the Chewy website indicated that my prescription needed to be sent in by snail mail. Frustrated, I called my clinic and they said that wasn't the case, that the clinic approves online. Then the clinic called Chewy to make sure that the prescription was approved and after that I received an email that my prescription was approved. However, because I did not receive a shipping notice by the first business day after the prescription was approved, I called Chewy to see where my meds were. The representative was very nice and polite, but unfortunately they said that one of my previously approved prescriptions was in fact denied. I asked why. I hope it comes soon.I LOVE Chewy for toys and stuff, but it is way too much hassle to get needed medications. By the time my Heartgard finally gets here, it will be at least a week over due for my dogs dosage, maybe longer. I will not order prescriptions this way in the future and don't recommend Chewy Pharmacy because it is just way too much hassle and worry.

So far so good when I got her started on it, it was still scratching and itching like a week closing to the end or we can have but I guess the second box so far is stretching out so she just scratches like a regular person once in a while and does it smell like she’s her paws She always like biting them like chewing on them. If I was a veterinarian, I will be fair on the people that can afford it and be fair on the price and probably make very little bit of money and not overdo it like all these people they are just in it for the money that’s how I feel , so somebody animals the people got that they love for the kids or adult seniors cannot afford it to see a doctor visit so much Hillsboro county over here supposed to be cheap, but they get two in the end when you go back and get some other stuff and then Tessa’s that’s where they get to but my dog needed cleaning and it was over close to $1000 and they’re supposed to be cheaper Hillsborough County and I don’t call that cheap and I’ll be probably looking for somewhere else to get that done for her but those people did not even call me back to say hey if you don’t want to bring her here take her somewhere else because she needs to a deep cleaning that’s how much you care to me that that’s not caring is the Hillsboro county animal and off anyway I said enough I hope you understand I’m talking to the Mike. Saving her life?

I inherited my brother's dog when he passed away. She came to me morbidly obese, at 10 years old. Then a blood test showed heartworm positive. The veterinarian feared that conventional heartworm treatment might kill her because of her weight and age. She suggested Heartgard would kill any baby heartworms produced by the adults, and the condition would not worsen. Once we got the dog's weight down, we could then assess her titer again. A year later, the dog is down to a normal weight, and the titer is very faint. We determined to continue with Heartgard monthly, since the infestation has been drastically reduced. Sandy is a happy, healthy 11 year old now, as active as a dog half her age. Thanks to Heartgard, a possible tragedy has been averted.

As always, Chewy is my one stop shop for my 4 little furbabies. I get their heartworm prevention, prescriptions, prebiotics, food, toys, coats, and sweaters from Chewy. I love that I don't have to go all over town to find what they need. Chewy has it all. The heartworm prevention is set up to receive every 6 months. They call the vet, fill the prescription, and send it off. I receive it within 3 days. Chewy makes it so easy. And, the price for Heartgard plus is very reasonable in comparison to other heartworm prevention. It's a win win for me and my little ones.

Timely Delivery

I adopted a dog from a rescue and while they had tested for heartworm they had not been giving him any preventative so I was very concerned since it was summer and the mosquitoes were pretty heavy. I could not get him into my veterinarian for nearly a month. Luckily, the vet he had had the checkup with through the rescue approved my Chewy order for the medication and I was able to get it in a few days! I have used this brand for a long time with my other dogs and it is effective and a reasonable price and they love them! They get so excited when it's heartworm pill day!

You told me you could not fill my order without presciptions from my vet for the heartworm medication. OK I go to my vet and find out that the dog I thought was over 25 lbs was only 23 lbs so hence I do not need the Green Box. I submit the three presciptions for the Blue Box Heartgard and explain that all 3 dogs are under 25 lbs. The next day I get a package for the original order. So I guess I really didn't need the prescriptions after all! Now I have another charge on my credit card that I don't know what it is for. I assume for the three presciptions I sent in. Haven't received anything yet. Now I have to package up the Green Boxes and return them to you. A trip to tne post office plus the unnecessary trip to the vet. This was suppose to make my life easier, HA!

YOU CAN TRUST CHEWY

This was my 1st time ordering Heartgard or purchasing outside of my vets office. I was unnerved by the demand to sign a waiver of liability for efficacy on Heartgard and any liability coverage Heartgard offers should my dogs get heart worms. Upon receiving the mediation I did call Heartgard to verify lot # and to question if Chewy was a backed distributor for them. I was shocked to learn my trusted vet of 17 years was employing scare tactics falsely claiming that Heartgard would not cover my dogs should they get ill if I purchased outside of a vet's office.
