I bought these yesterday, to try out our new fire pit, once I figured out how to use them, they were excellent, so I highly recommend them.
Always reliable, great burn time, consistent heat, easy to light with a chimney. I use in my kettle to grill and for a heat source when smoking.
How can you go wrong with these? Great all rounder, from hot and fast to low n slow cooks. I rate these higher than the blues (coconut) even though they burn slightly less hot, they last longer and add that little bit of coal flavour. Makes temp control consistent and easy with low and slow cooks too.
Reliability and consistency, just what is needed for quality BBQ. I use these in my kettle, smoker and pit as they burn with predictability. Low flavour impact, so you can add you own wood or chips to impart exactly the smoky flavour that you want.
again checked which Heat beads/briquettes are the best , this brand kept coming up , not only to these produce a great heat source the stay hot for a very long time
Charcoal not completely burnt, not easy to light up unless using correct lighter material
Comparing to my favourite brand which is “hot shots” these burn hotter and for less time. Maybe slightly less ash but plenty none the less. If you are cooking fast and hot these are the ones. For long cooks like smoking a brisket choose the hotshots.
