This modern subwoofer extends the frequency range of HEDD's TYPE 05 MK2 and TYPE 07 MK2 monitors down to an impressive 24Hz, adding substantial depth and physicality to your sound reproduction across various applications. When paired with HEDD MK2 monitors, the BASS 08 creates a completely linear phase satellite-subwoofer configuration that eliminates the typical phase smearing issues common in untreated rooms. The innovative Satellite OFFSET control addresses positioning challenges by allowing you to compensate for distance discrepancies between monitors and subwoofer, with adjustments of 2 metres to maintain proper time alignment. The BASS 08 includes multiple crossover filter options, giving you flexibility to select different crossover points including Home Cinema-compatible LFE settings. An LF mode pushes the low-frequency response even further to 20Hz, though this comes with a trade-off in maximum SPL capability. Both analogue and digital AES connections are provided in this compact yet powerful unit.
