On Father's Day my husband and son-in-law went on about how good the HOMEMADE brownies were. I got so tickled/because I used a box brownie mix. BUT I put a teaspoon of Heilala Vanilla Pure Vanilla Extract in the mix. LOVE the vanilla!

Best vanilla ever! I really wanted to try this vanilla which is the choice of top pastry chefs. So glad I did as the flavor and aroma are incredible. You might not think there's a difference among various vanilla extracts try this one and you'll immediately recognize it's superior!

I really like the flavor and fragrance of this vanilla. It is completely different than Tahitian (which I love for it's cherry notes and inimitable sweetness) but with darker notes more reminiscent of caramelized apples and spice notes reminding me of sweet potato pie. I swear I also get a little root beer in the nose as well. Altogether it is different from other vanillas/similar to Mexican but more complex/dark like Madagascar but sweeter and fruitier. It is my go to vanilla for glazing apple turnovers for now but I'm already dreaming of Autumn baking with Heilala!

This is a wonderful alternative to the vanilla from the supermarket, laden with nasties. Some clean vanilla extracts are pretty pricey, so this is a perfect option. Will definitely keep purchasing.
I don't really like the smell of the extract but that is my preferance and not the manufactures. I'm also not good on knowing what I am getting when it tells you in ounces. So it would be nicer if they described the item better. Thank you Danielle
I bought this to use for baking and making waffles,but I found a different use. It tasted so good I concocted a variance to my usual afternoon cocktail of ginger ale and vodka....I added a small amount to my cocktail and WOW ! did the Vanilla flavor come out !! I Love it !! I can only imagine the uses for this unique flavoring....endless....try it in or on anything if you like vanilla ...this is truly a quality product . A bit on the pricey side,but very good...I will buy more..a little goes a long way..Thanks..... I do not know which one to try next. Surprise me!! :)I am open to new flavors...convince me
I bought this sugar-free vanilla extract because I'm on a ketogenic diet and had to bake a dessert for a party. I made pecan shortbread cookies and they turned out amazing!! The vanilla flavor is delicious and they were a huge hit. I would absolutely buy this again. Store brands are loaded with added sugars.
I'm allergic to wheat/and while the alcohol in most vanilla extract is from what/this one isn't. But that's not the main reason I'm ordering this vanilla for the 4th time - and btw/this time I'm ordering 2 bottles.I love it. It's great for baking! My family has commented since I started using it that many of my cakes and other baked goods taste better. And they didn't know I switched vanillas. It - and my baked goods - smell yummier/and the kitchen smells vanilla-ier when baking than it did while using other brands. Oh/and it's great in chocolate cornstarch pudding/too.There's too much alcohol in this vanilla extract to use in non-baked goods imo unless you're using just a little. It looks very nice/but most vanilla is protected from light by darker glass. And since I've been happy with the product and the company/if I happen to get a bad one/I'll contact them for an exchange. Overall I'm a happy camper.
I had a large bottle of vanilla extract that took about twenty years to use up because I use only a half of a teaspoon at a time. This small bottle of Heilala vanilla extract tastes milder in my hot cereal/so it doesn't overpower the cinnamon.
I am a fanatic about vanilla. Not an expert about it/but I refuse to use artificial products. This vanilla has a wonderful scent and products made with it suit me. It is somewhat pricey/so that 5/keep me from ordering it again.
