I used to hate Baked Beans, or any beans as a child, and I'd refuse a plate with them on there. As from my mid/late teens, I actually grew to like them in a baked potato with cheese as it gaves me so much nourishment. We don't use any other brands, because Heinz don't add lemon as preservative in there. I'm very allergic to citrus fruits. And not only this but my husband is a food brand snob so will only have Heinz on his plate!

Good canned beans-Heinz beanz-good for breakfast Heinz beanz is a brand of canned beans that is quite good. The health index is four stars. The key is easy to eat. High fiber, low fat, high protein. There are many ways to eat. The first can be eaten directly with fried bacon and poached eggs. The second is to put in a sandwich, and smoked salmon or ham, plus cheese, lettuce together. Eat together. It's quick and nutritious for breakfast. The third is cooked with chicken. I had it at a friend's house. My friend used two types of beans, soy and black beans, and cooked them with the chicken, which absorbed the sauce from the beans and was quite good.

I honestly cannot believe what I'm reading with some of these one-star 'reviews' saying that the beans are 'watery' and 'not as good as they used to be'... Based off the sentence structure, grammar and spelling it would seem that someone is review spamming this page and leaving the same type of negative review complaining about watery beans and how Branston is a better bean. It's absolute nonsense and I strongly suggest that they were left by a person or persons associated with a rival product.Heinz baked beans are literally the perfect bean, I've been eating them my whole life twice a week and can categorically tell you that they have not changed one iota and are still the best baked beans you can buy. They taste as they always have. They are not 'watery' or 'watered down', all one has to do is shake the can before decanting as the beans tend to settle towards the bottom giving the impression that there is a lot of sauce. Heinz Baked Beans are as delicious as they've always been so you should really ignore the blatant and obvious review spamming in the review section.No other brand of baked beans come close to this British institution. They are the best of the best.

Dizappointing

There are much better versions available from other supermarkets' own brand ranges. A lot cheaper, too. These bangers are small and not art all plump, and you'd think that Heinz, with all of their resources, would be able to produce a premium product rather than an inferior one. Undecided as to whether I'd buy these again or just stock up from other supermarkets.

Excellent

These were really good. If you like the Suma ones these are close, Suma sausages are better, but these are very tasty and cheaper. Beans are good, regular Heinz beans taste and sausages had good flavour just a little soft for my liking. I still give 5 stars for a tinned meal option. I will be stocking up on these. Thanks Heinz you don't disappoint on the vegan stuff!! ❤️

The first challenge was getting into the tin. The ring pull broke straight off and my tin opener faced a real battle to get the thing opened. I ended up with the sauce all over the kitchen worktop and realised why when I eventually got the lid off. The sauce itself is mega watery, not like my usual brand at all. There was a thick layer of it before I even got to the beans. A bit of a rip off really as there are far less beans in the tin (Id guess at a third), because of the amount of watery juice. The beans themselves are ok but the sausages are small and pretty tasteless. I guess children would be more of a fan of them. Same as It Ever Was

I love Heinz Beanz. They are the traditional Fry Up bean also great on toasted bread. Less sweet than the American canned variety of baked bean. I sometimes mix them with Bush or B&M to reduce their overly sweet flavor. Heinz Beanz are hard to find in many US markets so having them available from the Jolly Posh helps.

absolutely love Heinz five beans, they are so versatile and tasty. for a filling meal try frying off half a red onion chopped finely, add the beans and a drained tin of tuna in oil. mix together over a medium heat and serve over four slices of wholemeal toast, then sprinkle some grated mozerella over the top. It's really tasty and filling. easy on the wallet too. you can also add some spinach too

disappointing

Heinz used to do a veggie beans and sausages many years ago and the sausages were exactly the same tasting as the meat version. I was excited thinking they were finally back in stock now that there’s more of a market however I was bitterly disappointed to find they weren’t even as good as the budget supermarket own brand ones. Sausages were too soft; didn’t taste anything like the originals and bean to sauce ratio was off! Won’t be buying again.
