Perfect case of people only stopping to review something when they're not happy. Nothing wrong with these. Been buying them for years as I'm the only one in our house that likes beans and a full can is wasteful. Never had them change colour, never had a plasticy taste (though often get a metallic taste off tins) and never had them taste like anything other than Heinz Beanz

Brought these for my dad as he lives alone and thought they would be more convenient that the larger tins. They caused him to have an upset stomach and said they didn?t taste the same as normal. Found that the snap pots contain an additional ingredient, Ascorbic Acid, which has a side effect for some people. Affected his friends too. Check before you buy

Slightly more expensive than the tinned variety, but I prefer them as you don't have to worry about BPA can lining and I read online the plastic pots are BPA free. They're also a lot easier to open than cans. Heinz beans taste great as usual, especially with toast! I've noticed some people saying that the beans taste odd/plasticky once microwaved, and it overflows from the packaging. I can't comment on this because I always pour the beans into a glass dish to microwave them to minimise plastic chemicals leaching into the food.

Convenient and easy for an older person to use without the risk of cutting themselves on a tin. Good quality and easy to heat up in microwave
If you would like to purchase a smaller serving of beans, buy the tins instead as these are plastic. On the positive side, the outer packaging is cardboard, whereas the bean tins are wrapped in plastic.
I just heated these very gently in a saucepan because I was nowhere near a microwave. They taste really odd... Horrid really. I had a spoonful and then binned the lot.
Why stock these instead of the tins? Do Ocado hate the environment that much?
I’ve never bought “snack pots” before but very often throw away some beans as too much for one. These were great and easy to microwave for one.I bought this product as part of a promotion
I buy these because they are just the right size for the two of us, with no wastage. The downside is that the lid is tricky to get off, and the microwave instructions are never right - I cook them for twice as long as recommended to be sure of getting them hot enough
These are delicious warm and sweet first thing in the morning. Very quick and easy to prepare and a bit of black pepper really compliments and boosts the flavour.
