As always, Heinz deliver a great quality, tasty product. This soup is the perfect thing for a quick, nofuss lunch on a cold day. I myself have it with a squeeze of lemon and a little white pepper. Thick, creamy, and savoury, perfect for mushroomlovers. I doubt I could make a better one myself!

I was brought up on Heinz and Campbells soup (when it was super super concentrated). :-) Anyway, I ordered the latter and Ocado substituted with the Heinz. I'm confident Mr Henry Heinz is turning in his grave. This is a soup you need to add ingredients to in order to make it palatable. We added salt and pepper and cream and even then it wasn't great. I find it almost offensive that Heinz have the cheek to call this "Cream of". Zero stars if I could.

I just love this soup more than any of the others that I tried. My grandson love the Heinz tomato soup while my granddaughter loves the chicken and vegetables soup of the same make but for me the only one is the Mushroom soup. It taste dimply delicious, has no artificial colouring or other additives.
I was asked to try this by Ocado and opened a tin for brunch. Having tasted it, I decided to sweat off half a chopped onion and about 200 grams of mushrooms in a little butter and olive oil, adding some fresh Thyme and a fat clove of garlic. I used my blender to add this to the liquid then included a dessertspoon of Worcester Sauce. Topped of with a few thinly sliced pan-fried mushrooms and some black pepper it was very tasty! I don't think this soup is aimed at us - it's for those who don't like robustly flavoured food and want something quick!
Gosh, hasn't soup gone up in price! Then I couldn't get my fav which is Mushroom! Good to see this four-pack at a reasonable cost. I have tried a number of Mushroom soups, some can be quite 'earthy'. I always come back to creamy Heinz. Nice with salt & black pepper added.
I was sent this, free, to review for Ocado. The soup is thick and very creamy, definitely soup rather than broth. Personally I think it lacks flavour and could do with some seasoning, it was quite bland. My husband, however, really enjoyed it and wanted it again the next day. I prefer Heinz tomato but I think he might be a convert! If you like your soup mild and creamy then this is for you!
I like Mushroom Soup, but Heinz is very expensive - will always buy "own Label" when available as it is cheaper and just as good. I don't normally recommend anything to anyone.
I was given this to review. I used to keep tins of Heinz mushroom soup in the cupboard to use as the basis for an instant sauce for a tuna and pasta casserole As I remember I added a lot of extra seasoning. I don't think I have ever tried it as a soup before. I'm not sure I would have even known it was meant to be mushroom if it didn't say so on the tin! But it was warming and thickly filling. I had it with a few biscuits and some strong cheddar. I can imagine perhaps having it again for a winter's lunch. (It's definitely essential to cover it in the microwave - as instructed. It kept explosively erupting as it was heated.)
We're unfaithful to Heinz on a regular basis until we snap back to our senses. Then again tempted by a cheaper version until we regain our historical knowledge. Hard to beat Heinz in any product in their range.. Reliable quality. Worth the extra money.
