This is nothing special. Sickly sweet and very little of the tangy 'kick' that I like sweet chilli to have. In the absence of Yeo's sauce from the Ocado range I shall just have to keep looking. Would certainly not buy this again
There is now large lumpy bits which struggle to be squeezed through the nozzle, making it difficult to dispense. Also, lots of seeds in it now. Used to be my favourite but I wont buy it any more.
I didn't appreciate this sweet chilli until I bought another brand. The thing is, this is one of the best textured sweet chilli sauce for dipping chips. I use different sweet chilli sauce for different things but this one is honestly the best one for chips. It is not the best for dipping a spring roll or marinating but it definitely has it's place.
Not too spicy but very tasty. Wish the other spicy ketchup varieties were still available.
The only real thing you can taste with this sauce is sweetness. I know it says sweet on the label, but this is ridiculous. It's a small 220ml bottle. That's a lot less than a mug full of sauce, yet it has 19 teaspoons of sugar in it. Come on Heinz, that's really bad this day and age.
After reading some good reviews I decided to give this a go, what a mistake. There is little if any chilli taste and all you get is just a ghastly oversweet sugary taste. Avoid.
This has changed. It doesnt taste very nice now and best of all, they made the pieces of red pepper in the sauce bigger so the hole gets blocked. Please Heinz, put this back to how it was.
