Heinz Vegetable Soup 400g

good quality thick soup quite filling and really nice flavour but I usually spice it up a bit by adding dried chilli flakes when cooking, I just like things spicy. It is easy to prepare ring pull so no faffing about with can openers,great for warming up after being out on a cold day. 94 calories per half can I always eat a whole can, 188 calories, who opens a can of soup and only eats half oh, I will just have this tiny portion and decant the rest into a tub and put it in the fridge for later I think not, I wish manufacturers would give nutritional info for sensible portion sizes. I had a 45g packet of nuts yesterday that gave nutritional info per 25g portion so I had 1.8 portions it is just as well I like mental arithmetic. This is one soup that smells lovely, however I'm not a fan of it, just in my opinion and I don't understand why. I do buy it regularly for other members of the family as they love it with chunky bread. So warming for winter! It's a soup full of vegetables and I was surprised to see apples as one of the ingredients and it has that wonderful curry smell and taste. The curry is what I like about it, fills the house up.

I was already a massive fan of Heinz soups but this Spring Vegetable soup reminded me why i love them so much . It was packed full of flavour and was a filling lunch. The soup was well enjoyed hot with some added pepper and a crusty thick bread. I have not seen this flavour soup before but will be getting more when i see it next.

A couple of weeks ago I received a can of 'Heinz Chicken Mushroom Soup' free from Influenster and Heinz to review. I enjoyed it so much one evening as a quick meal with some croutons and it went down very well. The can was easy to open and serve. Its quantity was enough for me and it filled me up. This soup was so delicious and creamy. It was the best one I have ever eaten so far. Now I have added it to my weekly shopping list. I'd highly recommend it to others.

Classic taste

Nothing wrong with this at all. I grew up with this soup, it got me through university. I'Love kept with it throughout my life because I love the specific taste. I laden it with numerous turns of blk peppermill and sometimes grated some cheddar or Parmesan though if I'm feeling organised I might do some cheese on toast to go with otherwise I prefer a fresh crusty roll. Perfect. The taste is the same to me or ever so slightly different.

Good quality product

As you'd expect with any Heinz product, this soup is good quality. Great flavour and texture, smells and tastes great. The packaging is immediately recognisable, if a little boring. I've not tried it before, probably because it doesn't jump out on the shelf. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was that I found myself needing a snack mid afternoon. It didn't quite fill me for long enough.

Lovely cup of soup.

I received this product for free, it's Full of flavour, perfect for the winter nights or any season. Being able to make it in a cup encourages my son to eat it which is great as he gets all the vegetables and he's a fussy eater. It is also quite filling. Tastes amazing.

Ok but nothing special

I was given this for a review by Ocado. A 400g tin was substituted for a 300g tin as it was out of stock. We usually buy the larger size tin as it makes more of a meal, so was happy to have the substitution. The general feeling was we would have preferred more vegetables, instead of the soup being padded out with pasta. I dont expect vegetable soup to have pasta in it either and it didnt need it! It was a little sweet too but the general flavour was ok. Not sure if we would buy again which is a shame as we are all expected to cut down on our meat eating.

My fav soup is Vegetable this has a nice taste and filling, couple slices of bread with butter dipped in the soup delicious. Heinz is the only soup I buy, all Heinz flavores are awesome well worth the money.

Tasty snack

Are these soups the best thing you'll ever taste? Probably not, however, they are still tasty, and super quick and easy to keep in the cupboard and cook. Perfect for lunch at work or home when you want a warming meal. Simply empty the contents into a mug and pour over some boiling water & wait 2 minutes. Low in fat & full of vegetables.
