Heller 50cm Black High Velocity Floor Fan

Fast delivery, great fan. Everyone complaing its a bit noisy and it is but it's not metal noisy and it's a great fan. I would recommend. Just remember it's noisy, but the fan itself is great to keep you cool.

Attractive non obtrusive unit, moves good volume of air as well, and reasonably priced. Delivery was quick too. Altogether a great buy!

Like the fact that this fan is light, easy to pick up and move,disappointed that I found the feet very difficult to attach. Can use it without feet, Kate Cavanagh.

Its made of thin cheap plastic but does the job. A lil bit noisy. Quick to assemble. Fingers cross this thing will last all summer heat

Best of its type.

Great airflow, not as quiet as smaller, less airflow fans, but way ahead of anything else that offers the same cooling power. Its virtually whisper quiet on the lowest setting, which is much higher than the highest setting on most fans.Very easy to carry and shift around, and focus the air flow, I am a Personal Trainer, and my clients love it, so much so that they wanted one for their own use. Bargain price. I have had one for years, and its still working perfectly. Its often been used by other people in the gym, and left on all night, still working perfectly. Cleaning the protective grill isn't easy unless you dissassemble, that is take the front off, and wash with a brush in the sink. But it doesn't take long, and only needs to be done every few months.

Best of the larger ones.

This is my second one. Both work but I had to replace the capacitor on the first one after a year. Generally it's a good fan if you are prepared to clean the lint off and check the crimp connectors in the speed box.

Heller Fan

Have a Heller 50cm fan. Mechanically sound and pushes out plenty of air. Motor powerful enough for the job Only concerns 1. Noisy when runnings 2 Has 3-speed selections all similar to each other. The slowest speed is not slow. It is quick.

Powerful but noisy

The fan is well designed and no doubt very powerful and cools you down in seconds....but it should be considering it draws 100 watts. There are two negative points though. The main one is the noise. It is far too loud for a living room and people trying to have a conversation....you would have to speak very loudly when its going at full speed. The second negative is that there is no rotation up-down or sideways. Otherwise a good strong product.

Unnecessarily big in size. Extremely noisy

Cumbersome and hugely unnessary in size. It is invasive and awkward in any room in the house. So noisy and loud it takes away the peace and quiet. can not have tv at normal sound levels or talk to other people comfortably. This item was to replace an old one i had that was cheaper and smaller by 10cm and so much quieter. So tired of poorly made products flooding the consumer market.

Velocity plus!

This fan is great if youre after air movement! The design of the fan and the powerful motor is great. No it isnt quiet...its a BIG FAN! The plastic clip on feet could be better designed however as they took a bit of getting on properly initially and only just hold on. The unit also seems to only have preset angles and prefers to aim up slightly, and if set at a flat angle it only takes a bump and it will tilt back to that position by itself. Overall Im happy with the fan for what I bought it for, but the housing could be a little more sturdy.
