Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise

I have a dairy intolerance and, after having original mayonnaise on tuna etc for years I found that I was sadly unable to. This Vegan mayonnaise is a game changer. Its thick and creamy and tastes EXACTLY like really good quality original mayonnaise. I absolutely love it. Ive also tried the garlic version and thats just as good. I dont buy any other now so all the family use this one. One tip is make sure you buy the jar version and not the squeezy bottle as its so thick you end up with loads left over on the insides of the bottle. With a jar its much easier and cleaner.

I really like Hellmann’s mayonnaise. We use it on our sandwiches on our sandwich wraps I put it in my macaroni and cheese just a little secret of mine. I use it in my meatloaf. I use it in my meatballs. I use it with this recipe for sausage dip I use it for my Vidalia onion cheese dip. Are use it for bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches. I use it for tomato sandwiches. It has a wonderful flavor. As a child, I would look at mayonnaise and think it was nasty. We ate our fair share of miracle whip growing up my older sister introduced Hellmann’s into our house, and it’s been a staple, and my favorite ever since .I don’t pick up another kind of mayonnaise when I go to the grocery store ever. I don’t think I ever will.

After 64 years I am finished with Hellmans

Last year I noticed that your mayonnaise not only tasted different but it looked different in the jar. So much so I initially thought that the mayonnaise had gone bad in my refrigerator. I went out and purchased another jar only to find out the consistency and flavor was the same as the jar I had just thrown out. I can't begin to tell you how disappointing this was. I don't know why companies insist on doing things like this, but I imagine it has something to do with money. It blows my mind how you can produce the best mayonnaise in the world for over 100 years and then suddenly change the recipe effecting the flavor and consistency. Who ever made this idiotic decision should be fired and you should go back to the old recipe ASAP! Best taste and texture of all

I’ve lived all over the US and I’ve tried (at the behest of locals) to try “their local Mayo” as the “best”. Well….I have and let me tell you. Th e BEST is HELLMANNS hands down, mic drop! No other has the fresh, creamy, natural flavors of Hellman’s original. I love all the other Hellman’s product too. But just my husband and I use it in and on everything imaginable!! No extra this or they! I carry a small jar on my purse when we got out to eat just in case! It’s that good. I recommend Hellman’s ove and above all other brands regardless or advertising and regional favorites. I lived in the Deep South and was ridiculed for traveling just to find Hellman’s over other brands and would buy it by the cases!! Y’all don’t change what nots broken here!!!! Hellmans Real Mayonnaise

I have been a huge fan of Hellmans Real Mayonnaise since I was a kid. I put it on my turkey sandwiches ham sandwiches, and use it in egg salad and tuna sandwiches. I use it in my potato salad, tuna salad, macaroni salad. I even make the famous chocolate Mayonnaise cake. Noone know it but it's so moist and brings out the chocolate. I will always use Hellmans Real Mayonnaise! If you haven't tried it, you won't be sorry. It has the right creaminess and the right flavor. Thank You Hellmans for making a great product.

Home away from Home

Since I moved to Arizona, I have not been able to find Hellmann's Mayonnaise. When I discovered on the label that the product is called Best Foods west of the Rockies and Hellmann's east of the Rockies, I wasn't that upset. But when I saw that I can purchase Hellmann's on the Sam's Club website, I was overjoyed. Even though it's the same product, I was so happy to finally get Hellmann's Mayonnaise in my Arizona refrigerator. It makes me feel like I'm back home. It's a warm feeling to have. I know this sounds crazy but when you move away from the place where you were born and raised, it makes a big difference. Thanks to Sam's Club, I was able to get it.

Not Real Mayo anymore. Tates like tofu & vinegar.

Hellmanns used to be a favorite food since 1970s. The recipe changes have beennoticeable and you've officially taken the amount of soybean oil too far. Sadly, Hellmans I have purchases my last jar. The mayonnaise no longer tastes like real mayonnaise.It takes like mushed tofu with a splash of salt and vinegar. Please make a classic version like the original of my youth. Remember when mayonnaise was made primarily from egg yolks, vinegar and oil?

Really nice mayo

We don't normally buy hellmanns mayo as it is more expensive and have been buying the asda light mayo in a jar which we thought was OK. Asda variety was out if stock so purchased this small squeeze bottle to bridge the gap.This hellmanns mayo is so much nicer, ie asda light texture more like a mousse, hellmanns more firm like salad cream, asda mix with tuna and mayo is predominant taste but hellmans sits in the background so you taste the tuna. Hellmanns does not have a vinegar taste.The only issue with hellmanns is that it took a massive 2 hand squeeze to get it out of the bottle. I imagine as the bottle empties a lot will be wasted that wont come out. Why Have You Changed A Perfect Product?

I have always LOVED Hellmann's mayo.....when I moved to the west coast, I lamented that I had to use Best Mayo.....even though it's the same product.....just because of my loyalty to the brand. However, recently, I'm noticing the Hellmann's is no longer the product is used to be. It always had a more solid feel that didn't spread evenly, because it stuck together more, and the flavor popped with freshness. The longer it stayed, even though it was still good, that texture would smooth out and it would lose a little of it's flavor, but that's when you knew it was time for a new jar.Now, a brand new jar is WAY too smooth, and doesn't have the same viscosity. The flavor is dull, and borders on tasting spoiled. The freshness and "pop" is long gone. I have ONLY bought your Real Mayonnaise since I married in 1970. It was my family's favorite! Everyone raved about my food made with your Real Mayonnaise. However, I bought some the other day and it was terrible! It had an aftertaste that was all wrong. It ruined the ham sandwiches I made and today it ruined the egg salad I made. What have you done? I see now that many people have complained about this and you haven't done anything about it. Why? I want my tried and true Real Mayonnaise back!
