Love love love my Helly Hanson day breaker fleece jacket. I initially purchased a black one and loved it so much that I ordered it in two more colours. It is incredibly warm yet not bulky or cumbersome at all. I work in a very cold production kitchen and need warm yet comfortable clothing and this jacket is perfect. It fits my body well and does not bunch up or feel bulky under my work coat. It is quite flattering and I have received numerous compliment on how the jackets looks on me. What is most impressive is how warm and cozy it is . It can be zipped up completely to keep the throat and neck covered and the sleeves are long but can easily be rolled up. The pockets are handy. If I could give more stars I would. This is extremely warm, considering it’s relatively thin. I feel like I have a long sleeve top on underneath but I don’t l. I get the warmth without the bulk. I was so impressed, I purchased more of the brand’s clothes. It is true to size.

Nice fleece jacket, it’s a great fit, lightweight fabric and the colour (coral) is as per the website pictures. Pockets (inside & out) are large enough for phone. The style is fitted so may need to go up a size to fit a thick layer underneath.

This daybreak fleece is very warm and soft on the skin. Good quality, light weight, great for layering on cooler days or on its own. Not large and bulky when packing which makes it handy for walks and travel. It does have a snug fit, check measurements before ordering. I bought it when it was on special, which makes it excellent value.
Very good quality fleece, lightweight but still warm. Unfortunately the grey colour is more lavender than grey, wish I ordered black! I'm s14 in Kathmandu and ordered Large, it was more like a s12, still fit but skin tight so can't wear a layer under it comfortably. Not returning as it is good quality, but very annoyed about the colour
Lovely warm, lightweight fleece I can wear layered in winter or as a light jacket. The fit is flattering and i like the side pockets. And it washes really well as there is no pilling so far after 3 washes! Would definitely purchase another HH fleece.
I'm getting a lot of wear out of this top. Wouldn't call it a jacket, Im wearing it as a base layer or a mid layer. I purchased a small, should have been a medium, it does fit quite small. Love the soft feel of the fleece and the weight of it. Flattering fit as well. Washes well and reasonably priced.Overall a good buy..

It's a good quality fleece, just what i was looking for....a fleece with a slightly fitted style. However I'm size 10 and Medium is too small. Armpit to armpit this fleece in Medium measures 18 inches, then it tapers in at waist. Normally that's fine for me if it was a t shirt but I'll be wearing the fleece over a thermal top in winter and there's no room for that. There no room for anything underneath! It's too snug. So back it goes....Like the other reviewer says, best choose a size up.
Love everything about it. Warm, light weight, flattering, great for wearing under windproof jacket. I normally wear size xs to s in jackets. I bought XS and fits perfect. Luckily I went into Anaconda to try for size before deciding on size and I'm glad I did. If i went by reviews i would have bought a medium as most reviews say to size up.. no chance of me in a medium. Even small was big. If you're in between sizes, I would recommend sizing down. I bought the white as well. Next is turquoise.
