The pants are warm and easy to wear. They fit well and run pretty close to size. One of my only issues is that the inseam is longer than advertised and I keep stepping on the hem. Perfect once I am on skis but I also hike so the pants do creep below the back of my boot a lot. I know shorter pants exist, but when the website only sells the regular length, it is difficult for people who are a little shorter or a little taller than normal.That being said, the features are excellent. The gaiters work as advertised and the waist adjustments work perfectly and easily. The leg vents work a treat, but they are not waterproof as far as I know so water and snow do make their way inside.

I was really excited for these pants as they had great reviews, felt lightweight, and seemed warm. However, they torn in a dozen spots on my first day out on a baby fall on normal groomers!! The are constructed like paper and cannot handle the rigors of actual skiing. Never in my life have I had any previous brand of ski pant tear, yet this one did from pretty much nothing. I tried to do a warranty claim and the HH phone rep said this should not happen. That they are supposed to have more durability. However, the claims department refuses to accept that they sold garbage. I can only assume this means the product line is actual junk and the zero durability is by design intent.

Really nicely designed pant. Excellent construction and the features are all great. Just enough insulation. Fit is nice too. not too baggy like others. The only thing I am slightly concerned about is the material. Seems not as rugged as other pants I have owned in the past and a little worried about rips. If you are someone who shreds just every now and then should be fine. If you ski or board 50 times a year may want something a little more burly. All in all very happy with the purchase.
These ski pants are very nice and super comfortable but have only one drawback: the waist is not adjustable with a velcro strap like many others. Although fit today was perfect, I don't know if it will be comfortable for many seasons, hence my reason for returning it. It's still a quality product, just not for a guy who packs and then loses a few pounds over the years.
Great quality from HH as usual. I already had an orange pair of Legendary Insulated ski pants and I know how comfortable and well protective they are when skiing. I like this shade of red and wanted them as well. I haven’t had the chance to ski in them yet, but looking at them they’re made exactly the same as my old orange ones, so I’m sure they’re a great buy. Good impermeability and insulation for athletic skiers.
Gift for my son for his birthday and he loved them. Comfortable fit with option at waist with velcro to increase or decrease waist size. Also ability to use a belt to ensure a good fit. Lots of zippered options on the leg for letting some air in. Not too insulated to make it confining, but enough that a pair of long johns underneath will suffice for warmth.
These pants are comfortable and lightweight. Even in snowy conditions with warm underpants they are fluid and comfortable. I recommend these pants. We bought them for a Christmas gift for our son at his request. He is enjoying them and these are his comments.

The material is very flexible, and it looks like polyester. I don't think the quality measures up against the Marmot Refuge pant that I recently tried on. I am a 36 waist, and the XL size HH pant was too big with the waist straps done up as tight as they would go, while the Large size was very tight around the waist and hips with the waist straps as loose as they would go. The rise from the crotch to the waist band is also much too low, and I think ski pants should be cut higher in the back, which HH doesn't do. I think the pockets are cut too low on the hips making them a long reach.For comparison, I wear a size XL in Burton Heavy Weight X Baselayer; size L in Smartwool Merino 250 bottom; size XL in most other pants, although with the XL Marmot Refuge pant I had to tighten the waist straps all the way, so I'm going to try a size Large to see if they fit better. I think at this price point, the Marmot Refuge pant or the slightly cheaper insulated Quicksilver Utility pant is the way to go.
It has all the basic features you'll need on a ski pants. The insulation is not heavy while it keeps warmth during activity well. The waist and hip part runs a bit tight so I would recommend go with one size up. The material is stretchy and maneuverability wearing it is good. This is an HH SkiFree product so you may also get a free ski pass.
