The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that any coat this long should REALLY have a two-way front zip. Other than that, this is pretty much my favourite raincoat ever. It kept me completely dry on our family trip to stormwatch in Tofino in January. It's also just an excellent waterproof layer for PNW winters, AND it isn't made of that annoying, noisy fabric all other raincoats seem to be made from. I am 5'6" tall and weigh 150 lbs, and I bought the size M, hoping it would be the correct size for me to be able to layer thick sweaters under (there is no warmth layer in this jacket). It is! I often find that tops are super tight around my upper arms, but no issues with that here. Please make this in more than just navy blue and yellow, Helly Hansen.

I've waited many a year to purchase a rain coat like this!! I purchased the yellow verson so that I could be seen when walking, whether it be with the dog on the street or in the grocery and mall shops parking lot on inclement days. It is truly fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It would be even better if it had a split zipper for driving, but alas 99% of coats these days no matter the garments season do.

I'm 5'51/2" and this well-made raincoat comes just to the top of my knee. I sized up to a large so that I can wear a puffer underneath it on cool days. It's light and unlined, which is perfect for a wide range of weather conditions and won't be any hotter than necessary in the summer. The hood has a bit of a "peak" and stays up. The high neck covers the lower face when zipped. Perfect for serious rain or squalls. There is no inside pocket but the flaps on the front pockets are sewn down the side keeping anything in the pocket dry. The sleeves are quite long so you can extend your arms, riding a bike for instance, without your cuffs getting wet. The zipper is one way only, unfortunately.
