We haven’t used these yet as we bought a size up for next year. We have used Helly Hansen for the kids since they were little and our previous pants have had no issues being used for two years by one kid then down to the next. These don’t seem to have the reinforced knee like the others have, but he will be older and maybe it won’t be as big a concern. Colours are great. I love the splash of orange they are putting on everything.

This is my second winter trying the Helly Hansen brand, and so far, so good. I purchased this pant last year for my eldest (a tall11yr old, she fit in the size 14). It lasted the whole winter without any holes. So now, I purchased this size 12 for my slim 9 yr old, because I want the pants to last two seasons. No complaints of the cold and it's a nice fit.

Got these for my 13 yo son who we typically have a hard time finding snowboarding bibs that aren't too tight in the thigh area but aren't dragging 5 inches in the snow. These are great bibs! They have adjustable waist band & the ability to shorten the legs when needed. We should be able to get at least two seasons out of these...my son also says they're the most comfortable bibs he's worn. Highly recommend, great quality for the price!

These are really nice pants and we got a matching jacket. It’s a boxier fit. Our daughter is a tall, slender 8 year old. The length on these is just right for this year but not necessarily next. The waist is fairly loose, even fully cinched, but that’s where the braces help. The length of the size 12 was actually better, but the waist size was comical on her. She likes them though and they’re well made.
My daughter is 8.5 and 50%tile for height and weight. I originally purchased the size 8 and they were way too short. Exchanged for a size ten and they fit perfect with room to grow. Should be able to get two ski seasons out of them. They are a little loose in the waist but they are held up with the suspenders. Great quality and looks sharp!
These are really well made snowpants for the price. My son is 11 years old, skinny and average height. He wears size 10 pants/jeans for length but they are usually loose on him. I ordered size 10 in these snowpants and they just touch the floor without boots on. The suspenders are comfortable. I almost ordered a size up after I saw the ajustable system inside though. As a teacher, I always get non black snowpants because they are easy to find!
I ordered a 12 in these for my son. He’s currently in a 10 Helly Hansen legendary snow pant. These are amazing quality, but MASSIVE. I wear a size 4/6 women’s and can actually put these on. They are a bit short mind you. I’ll have to order a size down for him as his next size.
These snowpants are warm and durable for a full season of skiing. They aren't too bulky and can be used without suspenders (waist is adjustable with velcro). They are true to size (a hint on the larger size if anything). My son used them for freestyle skiing.

My son hasn’t worn them yet so cannot comment on warmth/waterproofness but the fit was excellent. He is 9, slim and average to slightly tall for his age. The 10 fits perfect and has a bit of extra leg length. Quality seems great and he liked the style. Will be used for skiing rather than outdoor play or we would have wanted something with more reinforcement on the knees.
